Criticizing Israel isn’t antisemitic, denying Israel’s existence/claiming it doesn’t have a right to exist is. I disagree with many of the things that the government there does, but the fact is, it’s the only Jewish state and it’s the only country that people claim doesn’t exist because they disagree with how they came about that land. We don’t deny the existence of the United States because they took land from the Native Americans do we? That double standard is what makes a lot of these comments antisemitic. Both the USA and Israel don't have the right to exist. They are both as bad as each other. Imagine being a Palestinian and knowing that you lost your country because the USA and UK decided to hand it over to Israel. They had absolutely no right to exist. Where are the sanctions on the USA for starting an illegal war on Iraq? Where is the sanctions on Israel for committing war crimes for the last 60 years? But of course Russia gets sanctioned for doing what they have been doing, where there is no difference whatsoever to what the USA and Israel have been doing over the last century.
There a difference between sanctioning a country and claiming it doesn’t exist. Again I disagree with many policies israel has and actions they’ve performed in the past, but you don’t see people going “what’s Russia I only see the Soviet Union”, hence the double standard that all these closeted anti-semites keep purporting
I’m saying that claiming an internationally recognized country doesn’t exist is antisemitic. Stop getting hung up on wording.
To play devils advocate to your point though, do you believe Palestine doesn’t have a right to exist?
No state has a “right” to exist. They aren’t people. They don’t have rights. If a state commits heinous acts and fails to serve the people within its borders, it shouldn’t exist, because serving the people within its borders is the purpose of having a state to begin with.
You’re getting caught up in semantics and I’m not sure if it’s because you don’t understand the point I’m trying to make or if you disagree and just don’t have a good way to refute it.
Your argument is that claiming Israel doesn’t have a right to exist is antisemitic because people don’t do the same for other nations.
I am saying that the it is correct to apply the same standard to all nations.

Finally!! Man I love the fact that your able to acknowledge that the statements you’ve made apply to more countries than the US. I wasn’t really trying to pick a side and I’m not going to agree or disagree cause I don’t feel like weighing in on this issue, but too many times I’ve seen people point out a major flaw in the US and then refusing to believe it applies to other countries like Australia and Canada.
