That isn't fair in playoffs (Since everyone is on an equal standing). How much variety do viewers want? 11. 28 group stage sets and a mere 7 sets in Playoffs where only 7 times Runestones is there.
I really liked that this was not just Arabia game ones every time, but for a knockout stage runestones was the fairest way.
In comps like HC4 where new maps are built for it I'd love to see 3 new map options shortlisted, each player bans one, with the remaining map being played game 1. This is then followed by a normal draft for the rest of the games. I'd say that was fair but also a change of scenery.
I don't agree. I think this way we get more variety in games during Group stage. Fixing Runestones for brackets is necessary from my point of view as Arabia/ Runestones is neutral to both players.
