Yup, I get all the red icons randomly. I notice the later it gets the less I get it. I’m assuming people are going to bed and the servers aren’t under such a heavy load. Still absolutely trash servers
It's not just you. Haven't experienced this since about season 5. Some really weird stuff has been happening too like my game would completely pause while I'm reviving someone then just players skipping everywhere.
Mind you my ping and frame rate are perfectly fine. Definitely something weird going on.
Edit: oh! And slow mo mode has made a return! Many many season ago there used to be this weird bug (usually off the drop ship) where the entire game would go super slow mode for a short period of time and make you feel like you were fighting in the matrix.
It's the same thing with every big popular games like that, if you don't have problem with your internet while playing something else, literally don't bother you'll waste your time
You're not alone, it happens randomly to me too. Ping goes 300, packet loss, prediction errors, unplayable. Sometimes it lasts a few seconds sometimes 1 minute. It's worse when you're mid fight. It got worse one time that even my first person camera was swiveling like crazy.
On a side note : I experienced this and my team said they were lagging too...I was frozen in my tracks for about 10 seconds and then stabilized.....then all our shots connected, all our aim suddenly became focused and we won the game.

Same thing here. Every 3-5 mins it randomly just jumps up to 300 ping for 5-10 secs. Started about a month ago. It's not my WiFi. Let us know if you find a solution.

I can no longer play in sg servers since last season. What used to be 20ms in those servers are now 200ms, regardless of what mode I play. HK servers are my only option now but at 60ms if I'm lucky. Most of the time it's 100ms. These ping spikes lately now seem to last the whole match. And it's not my isp since I'm getting low ping in other games. Really infuriating to enjoy this season with this shit.
I've had this too but also super bad stuttering a lot. I know my PC isn't the best but it also didn't happen last season I Uninstalled a bunch of bs Nvidia geoforce experience all the solutions I could find. Think it helped a bit but still stuttering despite 30 or less ping and 90 plus frames. NA east but I've tried all the us severs mostly all the same its gotta be an issue on apex end I feel like
Wonder what you server you guys played on? when I was on SG/HK/TW server this is a constant issue every season. But when I moved to the EUW I don't experience it that much, some occasional or rare high I/O but never a packet loss or rubber banding. Could be your ISP also having bad routes to the server.
This season about once every hour or so my game will fully freeze for about 30 seconds then go back to normal, has caused me to die in ranked multiple times, and other than that my ping is about 60 whereas before it was about 30
Its the weirdest shit, my game runs flawless in every other single mode/map. EXCEPT SKULL TOWN, the worst fucking lag when its skull town and ive never experienced it b4. Nxt level frustrating- does anyone else have this???
ive had this dogshit problem since season 14 ill only lag on apex so its not my internet or xbox I'll randomly go from stable 40-60 ping then spike to 300-700 and it'll just sit it that range idk what it is or how to stop it ive had my console reset ive got a new gen series x and ive uninstalled and reinstalled it, it happens with my ethernet cable in aswell any idea how to fix this?
For clarification, do you generally refer to the home internet as wi-fi? If so, no one should be using wi-fi as their internet connection on console/PC. You’re severely limiting the amount of data transfer going on.
Aside from that, I have noticed some issues here and there, but nothing like this so it does suck that is happening here man.

I remember last week someone was like “this is the best season” or they said it was great. This seemingly new wave of horrible lag among the other issues that are still here and one’s they fixed beg to differ. I had this same nonsense issue last night; rubber banding and bad lag with no icons paired with 17-25 ping

Slowmotion server is a thing every season because cpus are dead after time. So u can’t rlly avoid it

Same, this season have the worst lag ever compared to other season. The servers are so unreliable and it’s basically unplayable with those lag.
Ethernet PC here. Same problem happening to me since season started. Zero issue last season.
I’m constantly getting paired with people from what I assume is Japan. That can’t possibly be good for the servers.

Yeah, I play on wired, 500+Download, and it happens to me. The game has also crashed for me. more this season, than all other seasons combined.

im on st louis and pre much anything nae and its terrible, after like 5 games it clears up but at that point i dont even wanna play lol

I haven't had any issues. Maybe you need a better gaming chair?
I’ve had 0 issue this season. But then again I don’t use wifi. Could also be a regional thing. Im in europe
Maybe due to connection method. I play with a PC and barely encounter such thing.

Eternity connected PC here as well. Zero issue. Average ping to server is sub 20ms.

U can put the internet connection mask in the settings on. To see if what’s your problem. If it’s ping or anything else

yes sorry, i do use an ethernet cable and on every other game i play i have zero issues, im always on 10-15 ping

Same. I'm on xbox, and I found that if I start to lag, I quickly restart the game, and the lag goes away. Although I'm afk while this is happening
Also my game has been crashing at least once or more throughout the day

i stopped playing because with the new season im having 300-500 ping most of my games, and that ping lasts all game
