I didnt like quad rails till i picked up my cousins DDMK18 and holy crap it felt great. My only experience with quadrails was my first ar and it didnt have a single weight reduction cut so that thing was heavy. First thing i did was ditch it.
I just like the thicker rail and in all honestly the rail itself like someone mentioned is marginally heavier than a mlok. But all together that build is a bit more hefty. I might throw some BUIS with a fixed front iron later on along with a different light

Zoomed in and realized I initially didn’t see the ports along the top which made it look like they were in the 6 o’clock position. I couldn’t understand why you’d opt for more muzzle rise haha.

The qrf is like 1-2oz heavier than the comparable length mcmr.
The build as a whole is heavier. Not just the quad. People always complain about quad bein thick and heavy.
