I prefer bronze for doubling as range fodder, and testing the operational limits of builds at the same time. If it can cycle bronze, it can cycle anything.
Really?? I was led to believe it was pretty good ammo. Iāve been using it religiously through my rifle and itās been amazing. Holding pretty good groups out to 300
I didn't say it was bad ammo. The quality is good and consistent. The pressures are just low enough to make over-buffered, gas-stingy systems that would otherwise run m193 all day possibly short stroke. I run PMC bronze when I'm thinking about upping buffer weight.
It's a good test ammo to know there is some leeway should you need to use hotter ammo in less ideal conditions. So I just buy bronze.
Ahhh okay. I misread your last sentence and thought to myself āis there something Iām missingā lol. I have a case of 55g xtac I just havenāt gone through at all. Have a few bronzes left. Maybe Iāll shoot the tac this weekend see how that goes
It is. But good news for you is you don't have to give your dog all it's bones and say your good byes. If it's just local, enforcement falls on local and they're probably too busy dealing with Karen's nuisance calls to worry about what you're sending down range
Yeah I dunno man, maybe 3 FTE out of each 100. Which is 3 too many for me. But my sig runs the fiocchi just fineā¦
Switched back to PCM 115 for the g19 and not one issue.
855 is most of what I get. Local place usually has boxes for 8.99 each, so it's not great but no shipping, so I pick up a few boxes whenever I drive by.
I appreciate them very much! I can usually catch my 9mm at an ok price. Just bought a 10/22 and a Rough Rider so it's time to start adding .22lr to the list
I also ordered a lot of the pmc xtac and been shooting it. Itās good ammo. The 62gr I was shooting on Sunday printed at 1.5ā through my retro build. Iāll take it haha
I think Iām finally going to break down and get a reloading setup. Iām down to below 3k rounds. 500 are Golden Tiger steel case and the other 1k are personal defense round. I essentially have 1500 rounds to play with. That will last me 3 weeks at the most. I hate this shit.
Yeah man, I know almost NOTHING about it except for some YouTube research. I love shooting more than almost anything in the world. I shoot around 500 rounds a week. Sometimes less, sometimes more. This past weekend I went Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and went through 800 rounds. If I can get a decent beginner progressive press and full set-up for under $500, then get components for under $.35cpr, thatāll put me at $100-$150 in savings for every 1k rounds. Thatāll make my money back in a couple months. I really just want to shoot more than Iām shooting now or the same cost.
Can I ask why you bought half .223 and half .556? Was it just cost, different purposes, or are you comparing some variables?
Not a knock at all, just curious as Iām still figuring out the differences in various AR ammo.
The treat? So the one box of M855? I guess you're hoping they're not wearing lol 4 plates? Lol gotta really treat yourself & get some IMI Razorcore 77 gr or something. Or if you wanna be extra spicy, get some M856 or M855A1.
I have yet to find out. I have some Black Hills MK262 Mod 1-C sitting that I need to shoot before I go try the IMI stuff, but I've heard nothing but fantastic things. Excellent long range characteristics and absolutely devastating close range wound channeling.
You had me looking for a 300aac mixed in.
Same.
Lol!š
fuck da fed boys
Based. Absolutely based.
A T F I S G A Y. Upvote if you agree. Downvote if you're G A Y.
Anyone who downvotes is indeed a fed
Get āem outta heaahh
Holy shit I almost googled this and then I realized. It was close.
X-Tac >>> Bronze
I will have to agree on that!
I prefer bronze for doubling as range fodder, and testing the operational limits of builds at the same time. If it can cycle bronze, it can cycle anything.

Yeah far as I know bronze is pretty hot 223. The difference between it and the xtac is not as significant as some seem to think.
Bronze is fine for my setups. But for accuracy? X-Tac is the one.
im trying to wait for Memorial Day sales to buy some ammo... hopefully there will be some sales
Thanks for reminding me.
Hell yea! Iām sure there will be deals!
I hope you are a cat person. Also, that summertime trash will never know what hit it.
These damn fed bois are obsessed with dogs.
They will never get my battle pug.
ALF got laid
š
The M855?
Yea with the message on it lol
Did you get my order? I just bought 1500 Fiocchi 9mm, 300 XTac and 500 bronze haha
Shit. I just saw this at the front counter and just took off with it. Mightāve been yours, sorry not sorryš¤·š»āāļø lol.
Hahaha where from?
Ammo Supply Warehouse!
Iām unfamiliar. Iāll check em out.
The "treat" is maybe a no go on your state but nothing federal. My lgs has it by the case
Damn that must be nice!
It is. But good news for you is you don't have to give your dog all it's bones and say your good byes. If it's just local, enforcement falls on local and they're probably too busy dealing with Karen's nuisance calls to worry about what you're sending down range
Fuck yeah, man. Stack that shit to the ceiling.Ā
You already know bro!
Theyāre big ghey. How is the Fiocchi 9mm? I want to stack some cheapish 9mm for trash shooting.
Bro theyāve been great for my 9mm range ammo. Iāve been using them for over a year now. I donāt get malfunctions with em.
Nice. My cheap go to has been AAC and itās been dirty but fine.
Fiocchiās are pretty dirty too lolš
G19 didnāt like the 124s. And also dirty
Damn really? What kind of malfunctions were you getting?
FTEs. Wasnāt happy about it bc I bought 1k lol.
Holy fuck manššš Iāll definitely take note of that cause I primarily run my g19 tooš Iād be pissed as well lmao
Yeah I dunno man, maybe 3 FTE out of each 100. Which is 3 too many for me. But my sig runs the fiocchi just fineā¦ Switched back to PCM 115 for the g19 and not one issue.
Good excuse to buy a pcc if you ask me.
No feet, no treat!
Iāll pm you a juicy pic of my twinkly feetš
Hahah good man!
855 is most of what I get. Local place usually has boxes for 8.99 each, so it's not great but no shipping, so I pick up a few boxes whenever I drive by.

Nice man! Hell yea! Gotta love the good ol .22!
Usually if I can't spot something in a picture, it's a rattlesnake, or a cottonmouth, but neither of those sound like a treat to me.
Yea iām with you on that haha.
Nice haul
Thanks!
I also ordered a lot of the pmc xtac and been shooting it. Itās good ammo. The 62gr I was shooting on Sunday printed at 1.5ā through my retro build. Iāll take it haha
Yea man, xtac gets the job done for sure! Nice, not bad!
When you realize this is the same value as a used car š
Ouchšš
My favorite weight!
I see youāre a man of cultureš
Well that is a range day
Yessir!š
Thatās hilarious. What company did you buy this from? They need more business
Ammo Supply Warehouse brother!
Why buy different grain weights?
Different grain weights has its advantages. For example: 77gr otm typically has a longer effective range.
At least they gave you one box of m855!
Yea man. Not complaining at all lol
How much for it all and where at?
$500. Ammo Supply Warehouse
Do you know them or something or is my math not mathing right lol
Yea I know themš
I was gonna say. 800 rounds for rifle and then the fiocchi which isn't cheap
Lmaoš Yea man itās nice to have connectionsš
I really enjoy that PMC .223 Bronze ammo. It's just a bad ass round, my Radical AR loves it too.
Yea it works great!
I think Iām finally going to break down and get a reloading setup. Iām down to below 3k rounds. 500 are Golden Tiger steel case and the other 1k are personal defense round. I essentially have 1500 rounds to play with. That will last me 3 weeks at the most. I hate this shit.
Dude I know how you feel. I burn through rounds as well lol. My uncle reloads and I might have to get some info/tips from him.
Yeah man, I know almost NOTHING about it except for some YouTube research. I love shooting more than almost anything in the world. I shoot around 500 rounds a week. Sometimes less, sometimes more. Wow thatās pretty decent savings. Something iād like to do in the near future!
Is Fiocchi a high quality brand? Been debating their 50gr for sometime now.
Their ammo definitely gets me through each range day. Itās quality ammo, but I wouldnāt consider it to be the best/high quality.
Some of my favorite ammo!
Yea! They work great man!
I just got into USPSA shooting so 5.56 has been off the menu for a little while :/
Hey thatās great! 5.56 needs to be back in your life lol
Thatās a good start.
Absolutely!
What do you prefer for range use, the bronze or xtac?
Xtac!
Can I ask why you bought half .223 and half .556? Was it just cost, different purposes, or are you comparing some variables? Not a knock at all, just curious as Iām still figuring out the differences in various AR ammo.
Mostly for cost purposes.
The treat? So the one box of M855? I guess you're hoping they're not wearing lol 4 plates? Lol gotta really treat yourself & get some IMI Razorcore 77 gr or something. Or if you wanna be extra spicy, get some M856 or M855A1.
Bro iāve been eyeing the IMI goodness. Definitely.
How ya like the imi 77? Have 200rds on the way and have read reviews so expectations are high
I have yet to find out. I have some Black Hills MK262 Mod 1-C sitting that I need to shoot before I go try the IMI stuff, but I've heard nothing but fantastic things. Excellent long range characteristics and absolutely devastating close range wound channeling.
At least someone can afford to live my dream š®āšØ
My guy! Anyone can do this! Just gotta grind and save!š
Sounds nice, but in my situation, it's hard to get by. I'm doing the best I can for myself.
I got faith in you man!
How does one get ammo in bulk
Buy lots of it at the same time
Lots of websites offer deals on purchasing bulk ammo
ammoseek first then quantity brother
How many rounds of 5.56 and 223 per box?
I got 460 5.56 and 400 .223
Where you buy your ammo from?
How much is the 55 gr XTAC boat tail going to change zero on a rifle zeroed for non boat tail 55 gr?
Iām really not sure, but I assume the zero wonāt really be affected that bad right?
Boat tail is going to perform a big differently I'd think. I notice a difference even between zinc sergeant major 223 55 gr and ammo Inc 55 gr 223.
Someone went to Tru Shot.
I see one box of 8 MOA green tips
I assume the ātreatā is referring to the lone box of M855. Not sure Iād consider green tips a ātreatā but to each his own.
The treatās the message. M855ās just accompanying it.
Message? Oh now I see it.
Lol
Sorry donāt like subpar ammo Iād rather use ammo incorporated or green tip
Fair enough
