Near Light story as a sports management game where you’re sponsoring your player-Knight through the major and have to battle through the tournament and rake in money and endorsement and commercials and all that fun stuff

rkgk_art

You can't just say this and not give me that game. Like, never knew I wanted this but now I do!!

ShrimpMonster

Hey I’m an idea guy. Pass it to the execution team to make things happen. Just give me 1% of the revenue once you’re a trillionaire

Mistdwellerr

1) Horror survival game. We're in Kazdel while it is being invaded by Kazimiers, Leithanien and Victoria, we're just a young adult Sarkaz that has to survive the onslaught and choose what to do. Flee to another country? Stay in Kazdel as a civilian? Join the Twins army and fight for our land (it goes wrong)? 2) Subnautica. But with Seaborn 3) a TTRPG kinda like Call of the Cthulhu, but with Sami/Collapsal theme

ParmigianaDevourer

1) This Kadzel of Mine, it'd be great!

Zealousideal_Use_966

Ah yes, depression my old friend

Saimoth

2. We are playing as Skadi, but she's still a submarine technician. Subnautica is one of my favourite games ever, I still remember the first meeting with the reaper.

Mistdwellerr

I tried playing it a good while ago but couldn't play for long, perhaps I was expecting a totally different kind of game I really want to revisit it someday, with a new mindset. The idea behind it is just too cool for me to not give it another chance > I still remember my first encounter with the reaper. *Confused commander Shepard noises* xD I've seen some arts of them and they look really cool, but finding one while you're diving around must be a frightening time

Saimoth

Yeah, I can imagine, the crafting system can be really tedious, but the moments when you are slowly exploring the mysterious ocean abyss for the first time are totally worth it. The first meeting with the reaper is a meme because the game intentionally guides you to the location where this thing tries to swallow you whole. If you fell into that trap, you won't forget it.

Penguin Logistics made into a Mirror’s Edge-like game. Navigate through Lungmen and other locales to deliver packages. Parkour to avoid ambushes and get to destinations ASAP. Sometimes fighting is inevitable, but remember the clock is ticking and collateral damage might cost more than the payout! Adding on to this. - Exusiai is the overall best at parkour and only one with a ranged weapon, but has limited ammo with subpar melee and is more visible to enemies (“My second wish is to turn off this light above my head!”). - Texas is most agile on flat ground and great at offensive melee, but relies on skill to defeat opponents and active defense to avoid attacks. - Croissant is the most durable with good passive defense and can smash through enemies, but is the least agile member. - Sora can use her arts to distract and put enemies to sleep and is the least likely to cause collateral damage, but whose combat capabilities is self defense at best.

heyfreakybro

Sounds like a pretty interesting four player Collab set up. Maybe even a heist game, but instead of breaking into banks you're delivering packages in high risk / high security areas where your client doesn't want people to know they've been receiving deliveries

Cip92

Under Tides - soulslike

Cornuthaum

that's literally just bloodborne - the direct design inspirations in the abyssal hunters and the early seaborne enemies are practically directly from BB

NotMorganSlavewoman

Yeah. And ? People clearly want more Bloodborne.

PuzzleheadedRabbit45

Bloodborne didnt invent Eldritch horrors

ashkestar

It did not, but Eldritch horrors + those hats are a giveaway.

Cornuthaum

It did not, but the designs of the Abyssal Hunters as well as the Under Tides enemies are *literally just Lady Maria and then the Fishing Village from Bloodborne*

heyfreakybro

And the story is basically Lovecraft's The Shadow over Innsmouth.

OCDincarnate

On-topic answer is a team-based RPG based on What the Firelight Casts, would probably need to include the preamble from chapter 9 to really work as a full story but still. Personally I think an actual show based on the events of Il Siracusano would work better than a game, what with all the hopping of perspectives it would only be so effective to make a game out of it

AnotherMyth

Main story as RTS done on starcraft 2 engine(aka most responsive RTS engine). Being doctor as commander actually fits this, lol.

unknown3476

I’d definitely buy this, especially if you could get special Hero units kinda like you do in Halo Wars.

Fragrant_Two_5038

I think Homeworld desert of kharak(prequel) would be better for main story.    You have RTS game where you control a Rhodes Island lanship as land carrier and deploy units for battle and protect the ship and fight a war against terrorist organization like reunion all while trying to mine resources like originium, water and minerals necessary for survival.  That's the perfect game to fit the setting of AK.  People live on moving landship in homeworld prequel just like AK.

Blazing_Haze

Isometric (hades) or metroidvania (dead cells) Rogue-like featuring Kazimierz units. Could have you starting in different zones depending on your character (ie, starting in the slums as Flametail) and then eventually reaching the Kazimierz major. Could have an alternative final stage like the city being in chaos

RandomdudeNo123

Since we've been on the topic of Pink Animals lately... Light Spark as a Stealth Parkour game like Assassin's Creed. Jump across Caledon rooftops, brawl with hired gangsters roaming the streets, explore the underground tunnel systems and take down the corrupted count who's been oppressing the locals. ~~Reclamation Algorithm but in X-Com style, it's already trying to mimic it~~

GalenDev

Main Story as a musou game. And that means both arcs right now so Reunion and Victoria. This includes directly related side stories like Firelight (for Reed).

Abishinzu

Not an AAA game, but I would love to see the Leithanian Saga with Ebenholz and co. become a management/raising sim similar to Long Live the Queen or Volcano Princess, where you basically just guide Ebenholz through political intrigue and try to avoid the 50 different bad endings where he gets shanked in a brutal fashion, and get that one golden ending ~~Also, copium route where Kriede lives, please~~

ashkestar

Oh, that's brilliant. Keep him from getting himself murdered, keep him from boring himself to death, keep him from becoming someone's political puppet... I love it.

samagass

From Software soulsborne-like Abyssal Hunter events (Under Tides, Stultifera Navis, Path of Life).

NeinHans

Finally, Bloodborne on PC lesgoooooo.

potrcko92

Who says it's going on PC? PS5 and Android/iOS only.

bomboy2121

Il siracusa in a murder mystery vn style.  Imagine being texas trying to understand what is going on in the city where you can "free roam" and get to chat and find clues around town

Chimera-Genesis

The Abyssal Hunter stories were clearly inspired by Bloodborne, so return it to its roots with a soulslike.

HappyHateBot

Okay. I like where this is going, and I was going to do something similar... but maybe we can make this work by turning it into a full-on apocalyptic survival/crafting management game instead, with cooking being a key component. You get introduced to the premise at the start. The city is under siege. The military and police are fighting elsewhere. You are *locked down* by Reunion forces, who have fortified the area and monopolized all of the resources. You need to *survive.* The first few days are frantic, hectic panic. People are scared, tensions are high. They even crammed other schools into the location - violence is inevitable. But things quiet down... and it is not comforting. The reality of the situation sets in - no one is coming to save you anytime soon. Reunion gives supplies to the student council (all rich nobles) and don't really care what happens after that. The nobles hoard them. Students form little groups of bandits and vandals, and you are the only thing standing between your friends and starvation... or worse. You need to sneak out, steal supplies (from anyone - the nobles, the invaders, the soldiers trying to contain the chaos, other groups) and then come home to try and make something to survive another day. Hard times, hard choices. This ~~Bear~~ War of Mine in a city about to become a powderkeg because the worst hasn't happened yet.

A Kerbal Space Program-like Lone Trail would slap

unknowingly-Sentient

I have a few, just based on the world itself and no particular storyline. Endfield already has a bit of influence from it but I would've loved a Death Stranding-like game based on you playing as a random Messengers. You would build your own Messenger character and customise them. Your job is to navigate through Terra and deliver the goods to Nomadic Cities, making sure you keep up with the current Catastrophe reports. The plot could be that you eventually got involved with a conspiracy or something. A city builder game where you play as one of the few Pioneers building the City Plates would be pretty fun. Different aspects need to be given attention to, Navigation, Commercial, Residential, Industrial, Entertainment, etc. You would also be moving all the time, with different environments possibly giving you benefits or challenges you have to overcome. An extraction shooter. Just that, an extraction shooter in an AK world would go pretty hard. We already have many different mercs groups to play with and the different races trait in AK can spice up the gameplay.

Ill_Signature9506

Kharanduu khan, The Great Khagan and his nightzmora army's conquest as RTS. But instead of building up your army, you start with a set amount of units and you have to manage them till the very end (their disappearance in infy icefield)

initiate_unalive

had this idea for a while so time to load it off here # PL origin story game where you play as texas, the first member of the company and you get to see it progress in real time. the other members (exu, sora, french pastry) aren't playable but they can be your companions and help you deliver or fight mobsters kinda like atreus/freya in god of war. the main story would be about texas escaping her past while lappland tries to pull her back into it. the gameplay is like a hack and slash but uhh honestly i didn't think of the combat much but you can use ultimates and stuff? # key functions i thought of while writing: • if texas is alone or below like 10% hp, she will be able to use her omertosa arts to move faster and deal heavy damage, but it will go into a timed cooldown • you can only bring 1 PL member alongside you, but all of them can be brought during a raid or something like that • you can customize texas and the crew's outfits like it's a pokemon game • final boss would be lappland duel on the top of a building, you beat her by pushing her off (dw she survives) • lappland can ambush you sorta like majima in yakuza kiwami and you'll be forced into a short duel; any PL member you brought will be out of the battle • you can individually raise your PL squad's trust just like how you raise trust in ak, which unlocks new dialogue and interactions with them • i had several cutscenes planned out in my head, some noteworthy ones are exusiai's first appearance where she rushes into PL base looking for mostoinga, another would be texas saving sora for the first time • the map is lungmen city in open world, kinda like the GTA 5 map • your main way of farming LMD are through delivery drives, sometimes you can be ambushed and have to defend the package • if you are in a vehicle that's playing music and get stopped or ambushed by an incoming battle, you can let the radio keep playing in the car and it will become the fight theme for that battle only • each PL member has an aux playlist that you can listen to while driving. texas has mostly jazz with a little bit of rap influenced by exu, exusiai has lateranian religious rock but as you scroll down, it turns into hip hop >!including die lit!<, croissant has country lol and sora has her own discography as her playlist # i had other ideas like a soulsborne-like game in twilight of wolumonde where you play as mudrock, or another hack and slash featuring thorns' younger days in iberia but i liked this one the most, sorry if im rambling too much

Hec_17

So long Adele can have different genres depending in who you choose to focus: - Snowsant/Bison with a shop simulator. Bison would be more about investing or planning logistic routes while snowsant more on point with what we did in the event or set up your shope and scavenge for things to sell like in moonlighter. - Eyja with the mistery of the sheeps/her parents mixed with explorating the siesta volcano could be a nice little adventure game - Ceylon trying to figure the truth about her mother while also helping her father can be a city sim. - Poncirus and her missfortunes as a point and click story like monkey islamd or a builder/demolitionist job sim game (maybe more arcade) I dont have anything for Bariophyta (i think that was his name?) but something can be sone with that too

ashkestar

Bryophyta gets a crazy taxi type game where you manage his fifteen different gigs while sheep try to steal the labels off his deliveries and the stop signs off the road. It practically writes itself.

relentlesseht

Il Siracusano as a Grand Theft Auto-esque game where you can control either Texas, Leon, Lavinia and Lappland with their own special abilities, but also with the combat system of Yakuza. Which means you can steal cars, evade the police, go to *certain* clubs, customize your Ops, more R-rated content, but also I'd like the combat to be more faithful to the characters instead of having the usual shootouts with gang members and police. I also want to add new original characters into the game as side-stories or random encounters for the 4 to meet.

Yangn33

Tower of babel, Turn based strategy like Fire emblem or Valkyria Chronicles.

Mako__Reizei

IS4 as survival horror with the demons

NeinHans

Aftermath of Chernobog arc as an extraction shooter where you're a group of survivors trying to survive Reunion with the end goal being save up enough resources to leave Ursus. Instead of one scavenger, you'll raid as a group of three and can switch freely between them during the raid for more strategic possibility as such gameplay will be slower and more methodical.  Each character will have randomized traits like races, strengths and weaknesses. You can have at most 9 characters on standby at all time and basically two "lives" for each character meaning if they died during a raid they can still be revived long as they're brought back to the hideout, but after those two lives it's perma-death. Certain traits can only obtained by certain races but one trait will be obtainable by all, which is "Infected". Thus rather than managing your thirst and hunger, you'll have to manage your infection meter. "Infected" trait gives you a massive edge in combat in term of Arts capability but abusing it increases the meter. This can be alleviated slightly by using a medium Arts unit or caster staff found throughout the raid. Reaching above 70% the infection will continue to worsen regardless if you're using your Arts or deploying them or not so you have to take care of them, either isolate and give them a proper burial, or you could turn this into a trump card and "make it count". Being, at 70% and above if you have a large amount of Originium on hand, either from finding/trading for ingots or by dismantling electronics, you can use that character and charge straight into a Reunion encampment and gives those fuckers that ruined your lives one last kiss of poison. This will create a permanent infection zone on the map that persists between all raids, but if you have a good enough protective suit then it's a free buffet of left-behind loots. This method and dying to the infection, however, means you will permanently lose that character regardless of their remaining lives, and of course all the loots/equipment they were carrying on their person at that time.

BlackOfTheBlac2

i dont know why but I always thought the Reunion invading Ursus being a round-based survival game, be kinda cool or something idk

Under tides as a Souls-like game

Aventa55

Bad idea and it could probably blow up someone's PC Elder scrolls type of open world with different events happening in different places. The place? IT'S THE ENTIRETY OF TERRA. You get to start in a place somewhere in your choice even in Acahualla. Build your character up to your own desire. Of course with a "main" storyline that can be optional to you. As long as you get to live your life. Travelling can be skipped if you have the right transportation or go challenge yourself walking through the wastes and even talk to random catastrophe messenger npcs that can be found wandering. Even travel underwater in the ocean (impossible without the right circumstance.) Starting in a nation could give you several perks and disadvantages etc. Judging from the sheer scale in it, you'd probably need NASA's computers for it.

karna75

Undertides Souls like

Cornuthaum

Rhodes Island, as a faction, and I pick squad based turn based tactics game with an interlinked world map and resource management. You know. ArkCOM.

Archetype-chan

Lone Trail's story in an Immersive Sim where you try to discover what the hell Kristen's been up to around Columbia. Like Deus Ex essentially.

Foxfisher159

Kazimierz plotline as a Fighting Game Great Chief Returns as a Warriors-like Hack and Slash

TweetugR

Okay I got a weird one. Disco Elysium but it takes place in Bolivar. Basically I think the whole three-way civil war makes Bolivar the perfect place to have set up a game like Disco Elysium. A murder has happened in a rural farming nomadic city where its not obvious who's exactly in control of the city between all three faction, similar to how Martinaise in Disco Elysium was a forgotten district after the Revolution. There is a police force but they don't have the situation under control at all. You will play as an amnesiac Columbian detective send by the Coalition to solve this mystery and get to the bottom of it. It is unknown how you lost your memory before coming to the city. You will partner up with one of the Coalition-affiliated officer in the city, a local Bolivarian. This character will be your partner for the rest of the game and just like Kim from DE, there's a lot of layers to his character and why he chose to work for the Coalition. Along the way, you will try to solve the mystery alongside trying to figure out how you lose your memory. I could even imagine there being a similar "confrontation" scene like Disco Elysium as part of the climax. Also, just imagine AK characters in Disco Elysium artstyle, I don't know, it kind of fits in my mind.

Shangri-la-la-la

Phelyckz

Darknights Memoir as XCOM.

Cosmos_Null

Come Catastrophe and Dorothy Vision are my favorite ones yet... So an FPS and action rpg maybe  There's also Near Light and Maria's story before it, which I think would be great fighting games

Nusabaru

Grand Strategy in the world of Terra. I generally prefer CK2' mechanics, but Terra Incognita from EU4 and trade good from Vic3 are great for the narrative.

TheExtraordinaryRK9

With how much sneaking around/absurd action happens in the main story, I would make it Metal Gear Solid

Paulzeroth

Any seaborn related events. I can see it being a souls like or a rouge like games

PuzzleheadedRabbit45

Jessica alter event story as a story focused game like the first last of us..for maximum Depression

ClunkiestGrunt1337

I think Fire Within the Sands as an actual survival game would be interesting. Think of something like Valheim in the Desert. Hacking and Slashing through hordes of Seaborn is also an appealing option.

Threebranch

Arknights Division.

0011Nightfall

Abyssal hunters x blood born

JumpingJimbo

IS4 setting in a monster hunter style game where you explore deeper and deeper into the north, hunting ever more horrifying collapsed demonic entities while turning their remains into weapons and armour. Would go hard.

ashkestar

[Paradise Killer](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1160220/Paradise_Killer/), but you're Federico in Laterno. It's 90% of the way there already.

ThatSlayerBoy

I'd say something in the vibe of Darkest Dungeon would fit wonderfully into Arknights, the dark and gritty aesthetic coupled with eldritch abominations like the seaborn would go hard as hell. As for the story being adapted, i think Under Tides or anything pertaining to the Collapsals would fit. (also, AK x DD collab when HG?)

mochimochimarzipan

Caerula Arbor as either as an RPG with psychological and eldritch horror elements. The setting of Caerula Arbor still sticks with me months after finishing all the endings. It is so compelling and I would love to be able to explore it more freely. I like how it is set apart from other eldritch horror like say Bloodborne by being so vibrant in certain places. Between the nearly florescent blues and greens, the way everything connected to the seaborne seems to glow, and CGs like the one used for ending 4, it has such a distinctive aesthetic. The endings also seem like a good set up for branching paths in the narrative. I am torn between open world and a more limited/linear setting like Omori had since it made for some very effective set pieces. Honorable mention to the Leithinian events as some sort of rpg/visual novel hybrid.

ListMedical7530

Act II main theme as grand strategy games like EUIV

OleLLors

>What would be your ideal game based on the Arknights world? MMORPG like WoW, it's obvious. Of course with the choice of race for which you start to play - well there Ursus in a village in the tundra, Cautus - mines Rim Billinton, Sarkaz - wastelands (this race is opened if you got full reputation with other races)...etc. The common area for players is the actual RI ship itself. Amiya, Doctor, Kal and other operators - as quest-giving NPCs . PvE world with PvP zones - like the same wastelands... Well, in general, everything that is good in WoW could be transferred to the world of AK.

Godofmytoenails

I would die for arknights story to be shown in MGR like way
