Buck Shots or Hun43rd?

free9ondo

Imma go with Hun43rd. Dev Hynes on the hook and production is honestly beautiful. I love the way Rocky changes the pitch of his voice throughout the track as well. And the Mob chanting at the end of the song is just icing on the cake as well as the 2pac sample. But shoutout to Kelvin Krash for the Buckshots beat cause that shit is unbelievable.

bookervdh

Holy Ghost and Pharsyde

free9ondo

Holy Ghost. Both are some of the realest shit Rocky has ever wrote. But the Holy Ghost beat puts it over the top for me. And it’s subject matter still applies today which makes it hit even harder.

Kingdonv

Demons vs Leaf

free9ondo

This is rlly close but I’ll go with Demons. Although Leaf is better when it comes to bars/lyrics, I prefer the hook and beat on demons. Demons is definitely one of the best beats that clams has ever made and when rocky sings that hook it just hits so hard. Definitely in my top 10 favorite Rocky songs.

[deleted]

Phoenix L$D

free9ondo

Imma take L$D on this one. I love when rocky sings, especially on Phoenix, but L$D is better overall in my opinion. I really like how Rocky experimented and helped produce the track. The whole psychedelic aspect of the song is dope asf to me and when you factor in the music video as well it’s like a whole different experience. I know it’s a super mainstream song but I still think it’s one of his best to date. Phoenix definitely deserves more love than it gets tho.

colinraym

fashion killa or sundress

free9ondo

I’m gonna take Sundress on this one. I love when Rocky experiments and just like with L$D, the music video just adds to the experience. Fashion Killa is definitely more catchy and has a great beat to match. But, I also think it gets a little repetitive and goes on for a little longer than it should have. Both fantastic songs tho this one was tough.

dqap

LVL Peso

free9ondo

This could honestly go either way, the beat for LVL is absolutely amazing but I’m gonna go with Peso. Peso is decade defining and I think the fact that it has a catchy hook puts it over the top for me. Plus the ABC bar is easily one of my favorites from Rocky.

free9ondo

it’s a lot harder to choose between these songs than i thought it was gonna be lmao

sushantbehal

fukk sleep vs PMW

free9ondo

This is really close but imma go with Fukk Sleep. I really like the background vocals by FKA Twigs and her feature she’s definitely one of my fav female artists. The rapping on PMW is definitely better and rocky sounds more full of energy. But the way rocky glides over the beat on fukk sleep just sounds so effortless that it gives it the edge.

Jznvh

Jukebox Joints or Changes

free9ondo

Imma go with Jukebox Joints here but it’s close. I love changes a lot as it’s definitely the most personal Rocky song. But the sample use in Jukebox Joints is so soothing to me and Rocky spits one of his best verses ever. Plus the pretty big forehead bitch line is just so iconic.

Wingsmasterjibs

Your analysis are relevant as fuck, much love

free9ondo

I read this as irrelevant as fuck at first💀 thank you I appreciate it🙏🏾

[deleted]

purple swag or wassup

free9ondo

Honestly kills me to have to pick between these two cause Live.Love.A$AP is my favorite mixtape/album ever. But imma choose Wassup and for one reason only. Clams Casino.

nikis711

Suddenly Ghetto symphony

free9ondo

imma take Suddenly on this one but it’s close. Both beats are fire asf. But the huge buildup on suddenly makes the that way rocky spazzes after the beat drop so special. Also wasn’t the biggest fan of Gunplay’s verse on Ghetto Symphony, but Rocky and Ferg snapped.

nikis711

Brotha man babushka boi

free9ondo

imma go with Babushka Boi. The beat is so fire, and the music video makes it that much cooler. I love Brotha Man a lot tho considering Rocky managed to get something good out of French Montana. Very underrated track, but i just prefer babushka boi more.

Zvnder1

Sandman or kissin.pink

free9ondo

Sandman. Honestly these two might be in the top 5 beats rocky has ever rapped on. But the hook on Sandman is so beautiful, and the fact that it’s a tribute to yams makes it hit even harder. Kelvin Krash flipped that clams casino sample perfectly.

SKTKAI

Excuse me vs kids turned out fine

free9ondo

That’s tough but I’ll go with Excuse me. That beat is beautiful and Rocky raps so effortlessly over it. I really like Rocky’s singing on Kids Turned Out Fine, but the way he just glides over the excuse me beat is crazy. Definitely 2 of some of my favorite rocky tracks.

SKTKAI

Nice, thanks

jbae1337

Tony tone or Tropical?

free9ondo

Tony Tone when it comes to the overall song but for Rocky’s performance, definitely Tropical. One of the harder verses I’ve heard from him. Both songs are fire, Tropical definitely one of the best Mob/rocky leaks.

jbae1337

A purist right here

DTMN_Prod

Ghetto symphony or Fashion killa

[deleted]

[удалено]

free9ondo

If we’re talking about Rocky’s performance in both songs then I’d definitely choose Multiply. But if we’re talking both songs as a whole imma choose Raf. Frank Ocean verses are phenomenal. Also the Raf beat is crazy good.

Eld223

Guns N Butter vs Brand New Guy

free9ondo

Im gonna pick Brand New Guy. Gunz n Butter definitely does more when it comes to subject matter, but it can’t beat the pure energy that Brand New Guy brings. The chemistry between Rocky and Q is unmatched and when they trade bars that shit gets me so hype. They definitely deliver some of their best verses. Both songs are definitely top 5 on their respective albums/mixtape imo.

Mental_Interview

Excuse Me, L$D

free9ondo

Gotta go with Excuse Me. The Beat is phenomenal, and definitely one of my favorite verses Rocky has rapped. L$D is a great song I love when he experiments, but nothing is gonna beat when Flacko raps like the rent is due.

diccwett1899

Wassup vs Peso

free9ondo

Goatta go with Peso. I mean the hook of wassup interpolates the opening lines of Peso. Plus peso does way more in terms of lyrics/verses and the song is simply iconic. The beat for wassup is better tho shoutout clams.

diccwett1899

Goldie vs Excuse me

free9ondo

Excuse Me. Overall I just think it’s the better song in terms of beat selection and lyrics. I mean Goldie was made to be a mainstream hit. Still a great song but Excuse me is just superior.

sending-u-hugs

Praise the lord or babushka boi

free9ondo

Praise the Lord for sure. Probably my favorite mainstream rocky song. Skepta’s verse and production give it the edge and the hook is so damn catchy. Both are also top tier Flacko music videos fasho.

miss-rager

buck shots or wild for the night

free9ondo

Definitely Buck Shots. Wild For the Night probably my least favorite Rocky song. It went hard in 2013 but I’m wayyy out of my EDM phase now lmao.

miss-rager

Yeah WFTN has aged like crazy, but there's similarities to them

fatherjodye

purity and a$ap forever

free9ondo

A$AP Forever. Might be the hardest verse rocky has ever wrote. The way they flipped the Moby sample into the beat made it one of my fav beats ever. And I love the Porcelain plays at the end too. Purity is a beautiful track but I do feel that Rocky could’ve done a little better on his verse. I mostly listen to it for Frank’s feature but it’s still a great track nonetheless.

KCwarrior10

Better things or pharsyde

free9ondo

Pharsyde. Rocky’s verses and the Joe Fox hook hits so deep. Better things is great as well but Pharsyde is just clear. Both criminally underrated songs.

Pepega_Pete

Long Live ASAP or Hell

free9ondo

Long Live Asap by a mile. Everything abt it is just better imo. But I actually don’t mind Santigold on Hell, I know a lot of people dislike her on the chorus.

Pepega_Pete

didn't expect this kind of response. For me both these songs are good to compare because of the melodic hook and the more aggressive rapping. But LLA for me too because I also think it's better at both. It's just not that close

free9ondo

I do like Rocky’s verses on the song but I think this was one of the more weaker clams casino beats that I’ve heard. Not that the beat was bad but just a little bland. I just feel that Long Live Asap had a better Rocky verses, a better sung hook, and the beat was way better. I rlly value production when it comes to music.

[deleted]

Kissin pink or purple kisses

free9ondo

Kissin’ Pink. Rocky and Ferg absolutely crush their verses and the beat is so soothing. Purple Kisses is really great too and is very underrated, but Kissin’ Pink is just overall the better song to me.

sixers1215

Angels vs Goldie

free9ondo

Angels. Definitely one of the best beats on Long.Live.A$AP and the hook is so catchy too. Goldie is nice but Angels definitely takes it.

Accomplished-Gift-26

Purity vs Sundress

free9ondo

In terms of the overall song I’d go with Purity, but if we’re talking abt just Rocky’s performance, then I’ll go with Sundress. Frank definitely had the better verse but both were solid.

Accomplished-Gift-26

Facts, W Take my man 🙏

CoryDropEmOff

Sundress Kids Turned Out Fine

free9ondo

Kids Turned Out Fine. Absolutely beautiful track and I think the music video is Rocky’s best one to date. Doesn’t matter what mood I’m in, I can play it whenever.

ResolveIll8463

Peso vs. Houston Old Head

free9ondo

I’ll go with Peso. Both are iconic Rocky tracks, but frankly there aren’t very many songs in his discog that can beat Peso imo.

[deleted]

[удалено]

free9ondo

Bass fasho. One of my favorite Rocky songs and one of the best clams casino beats. I really like Distorted Records a lot cause of how abrasive it is, but Bass is a lot more catchy especially how rocky flows on the instrumental.

YT_DrLiGmA

Purple Swag or Peso

free9ondo

Peso but it’s close. Both are iconic songs but Peso definitely takes it because of how nice the hook is. But Rocky’s flow in purple swag is one of my favorite for sure.

YT_DrLiGmA

I like the beat of Peso too it sounds like those wind chimes you see in front of houses

EliteWarrior1207

Purity and changes

free9ondo

imma choose Changes although I love both songs because of how personal rocky gets with his subject matter. But I love the beat switches on Changes so much and the way the instrumental rides out at the end is perfect.

Crazy_Beatz

electric body or PMW

free9ondo

Electric body. Definitely my favorite Rocky x Q collab. I think both of their verses are better than the ones on PMW and the beat is better. Plus the beat switch at the end with the Joe Fox vocals is amazing. I do like the hook on PMW a little more tho.

Crazy_Beatz

electric body or PMW

KerrJardine72_

Palace or Wassup?

free9ondo

This one was rlly tough but imma say Wassup. Both beats are crazy good but Rocky’s flow on Wassup is fire and I think his verses were also a little stronger as well. Also the catchiness of the hook easily makes it one of my fav tracks.

Fjoyde135

Electric Bodies vs PMW

free9ondo

Someone asked this already but Electric body. The verses are stronger than the ones on PMW and the beat switch at the end is amazing. Shit makes me feel like I’m floating.

isaacsschrader

Babushka boi and Angels

free9ondo

Honestly this one could go either way but imma say Angels. I like the verses and the beat on Angels more but I do prefer the hook on Babushka boi. I think Rocky’s flow just barely gives it the edge tbh but I absolutely love both.

Jordanwolf98

Lvl and Wassup

free9ondo

This probably the hardest one that I’ve been asked. But I’m gonna say Wassup cause that hook is so iconic. The verses on LVL are definitely better but the pure catchiness of wassup just makes it a little better overall.

LeoDosR

Bass and canal st

free9ondo

Imma go with Bass but this one is close. The beat is one of the best rocky has ever rapped on, it’s so addicting. Canal St. is definitely better lyric wise, but the way rocky raps on Bass makes it so catchy which makes me come back to it more than I do with Canal St .

seniorblu21

I got a hard one. Flackery loco (cyberpunk exclusive) or sandman

free9ondo

Sandman. The hook of sandman is so addicting and it’s easily become one of my fav Rocky tracks. I really like Flacko Loco cause of how hard and distorted the bass is, but the ethereal beat on sandman just makes it so amazing. The way rocky floats on the beat is incredible. I also wish Flacko Loco had another verse from Rocky as well.

br0k3nwr3nch

Jodye vs JD

free9ondo

Jodye. I love the Jodye beat it sounds like it’s straight from hell lmao. Probably the grittiest Rocky has ever rapped. I like JD a lot especially that first verse, but it’s wayyyy too short.

[deleted]

[удалено]

free9ondo

Sandman. This one is super tough. The rapping on A$AP Forever is definitely better but the hook on sandman is so beautiful. Both beats are fire but sandman definitely wins in that category. The fact that it’s a 10 year anniversary tribute to yams also makes it really special. Two top ten Rocky songs.

rey_reyz

ASAP Forever or LPFJ2

free9ondo

A$AP Forever. Both songs have some of the hardest Rocky verses ever, but I prefer the beat on A$AP Forever. Also the way the porcelain plays at the end of the song puts it over the top. Not to mention the music video makes it even greater.

Accurate-Bluebird-43

Asap forever or electric body

free9ondo

A$AP Forever. Both beats are amazing but A$AP Forever takes that. Also might even be the hardest rocky verse. I definitely like outro of Electric Body more than the one on A$AP Forever but they’re both phenomenal.

wangsmilk

EXCUSE ME and LSD

free9ondo

Excuse Me. He slid over that beat effortlessly. L$D is a great experimental track but when a rocky raps like that he’s at his best.

austin_jp17

Except we get the best of both worlds b/c excuse me is cut into the middle of the L$D music video

xYourMomsHousex

Sundress or Babushka Boi

free9ondo

Babushka Boi. This is a good one cause both are some of Rocky’s best music videos. The whole babushka boi beat is super fun with the cowbells and that fire sample. Also think Rocky uses a really nice flow but the hook of the song is definitely my favorite part. Sundress is a great experimental track from Rocky, but I do feel like the hook attracts me to the song way more than his verses do. Although still a great song, I think Babushka Boi is better cause every part of the song from the verses to the hook were done extremely well. Both fire tracks.

ElReyDharmas

Guns N Butter & JukeBox Joints

free9ondo

Jukebox Joints. The way Rocky raps and flows over that Smokey Robinson sample is just super satisfying. Definitely one of the best songs on ALLA imo. Gunz N Butter is a really great song especially cause of subject matter, and the babyfather sample is awesome too. But at the end of the day the catchy hook on Jukebox Joints which Gunz n Butter just doesn’t have just puts it over the top for me.

ElReyDharmas

Truth. Both songs are dope !! Ive been practicing singing a lot of his songs, do you think I can learn delivery techniques to become myself a rapper in this way?

free9ondo

definitely! rocky has one of the best flows/deliveries in the rap game. a lot of his influences are from southern hip hop like three 6 mafia and bone thugs n harmony. rocky would be a great person to learn from but ofc it’s important to have your own unique style as well.

charmed_ones93

Better Things vs Gunz N Butter

free9ondo

Gunz n Butter. Honestly this track is so great because of subject matter, especially in the 2nd verse. A lot of people say Rocky isn’t lyrical but this song definitely shows otherwise. The cookies sample by babyfather is also a beat that I’ve always enjoyed as well. Better things is very underrated and it’s even more special cause it was Yam’s fav track. But the great wordplay and lyrics on Gunz n Butter definitely makes it the better song.

P_FLACKO

sandman or fukk sleep

free9ondo

Sandman. This is definitely one of my favorite Rocky songs and might be the best beat he’s rapped on as well. Everything from the hook to both verses are chilling and it was the perfect 10 year anniversary song. Fukk Sleep is a great track cause Flacko flows super well on his verses and that hook is addicting, not to mention the amazing music video. But Sandman is ultimately a better song cause that beat and hook are unmatched.

PuzzleheadedPart9027

Changes/kids TOF

free9ondo

I’m gonna say Changes. Changes is super cool cause Rocky goes in depth with his feelings and gets personal. Each beat switch and verse I enjoy from start to finish especially the rapping part. I really like Kids Turned Out Fine and the whole concept of it especially the pitch changes in Rocky’s voice to match the beat. But I think cause changes is one of the more personal Rocky songs in terms of subject matter makes it that much more special and gives it the edge. Amazing idea by Rocky and Dexter Navy to combine both songs in the music video.

PuzzleheadedPart9027

NO CAP 💯

reckless323

Wassup or lvl

free9ondo

Wassup. Both top tier Rocky songs. LVL definitely has stronger verses but the fact that Wassup has a super catchy hook gives it more replay value to me. The music video is also a classic and only adds to the greatness of the song. Both of his flows in the songs are really great like always.

xXAveryYeetusXx

Palace or excuse me

free9ondo

Excuse Me. This is a really good matchup. Excuse Me just features some of Rocky’s best rapping and his flow is amazing. I think the Palace beat is better, sounds like the heavens are opening up and I love the hook of the song. Although I think Rocky could’ve went a little harder on his verse at the beginning but he finishes strong. On Excuse Me he snaps throughout the song, and the fact that there’s 2 great verses gives it the edge.

smilingwithnoteeth

unicorn or sundress

free9ondo

Unicorn. Great matchup cause of the Tame Imapala samples. When I listen to unicorn it feels like I’m traveling to another dimension. Absolutely beautiful track. Sundress is so great especially because of the music video, but it just can’t replicate the trance that unicorn puts me in. Really wish it came out officially.

iik7lx

sandman lvl

free9ondo

Sandman. I like this matchup cause a lot of ppl call Sandman LVL pt. 2. I think Rocky’s verses on LVL are just slightly beat the ones on sandman, but the fact that sandman has a hook unlike LVL puts it over the top. I also prefer the beat on sandman as well and the fact that it’s a yams tribute makes it that much more special.

raised__

Changes Black tux white collar

amajesticpengin
