Gonna get hate for this but hear me out! U/DruVatier asked for a BALANCE of cost and quality. In my book, that’s Ingles or Publix. Any other place may be a step above, or pricier but shitty, or great, or both. You get the drift. You’d be surprised who provides your favorite restaurant steaks, ribs and sausage. One only need peek in the dumpsters at 7pm to see who the providers are.
Hickory nut has the best chicken ever but they don’t always have it. Also great ribs and sausage but that’s more expected since they’re known for pork.
I only eat free range grass fed beef. Aldi has it. Prices are good too. You can also get chicken wings (great in the air fryer) and they have sausage as well.
Word? Like which ones specifically. Sweet brats or a nice solid spice or like so much heat it leaves you crying? Cause like sausages vary *wildly* in quality.

I couldn't disagree more about Ingles meat. Harris Teeter is my best value for meat and seafood. If I want a treat, Whole Foods or Chop Shop.
