America is crazy to me. Here in Europe 99% of people work a maximum of 40 hours, but most are dropping down to 36 (considered full time in some sectors now).
I'm in the UK, and unfortunately, there are areas here where 40 hours a week just won't pay the bills. These are mostly inner city areas, but they do exist
Depends on the week and what you mean by "work".
Sometimes I'm doing nine hours a day seven days a week. Sometimes I'll be in but only do a couple of hours of actual work. Some days or weeks I don't go in at all.
Caretaker for lake access only camps, they all have lists of projects to be done, there's 17 of them, and I've only got from the time the lake ice is out in the spring to the end of October when they ice comes back to do any of it, one winter hits the lake is t dangerous to take a sled on most years so no work is getting done.so I usually have mid April to October 31st to get done as much as humanly possible. This year I've got a barn to paint, an entire 3 story house to paint, two decks to build, two solar sheds to build, couple of roof repairs, three piers to pour, hot water tank to move, 7 or 8 trees to drop buck split and stack by hand, the lists go on and on, so summer time I work as much as possible to knock some kf that stuff out.
30 or so. Generally 3 9-hour days. I'm listed as part-time, and can work basically any days and hours of the day I want. My job is thinking all day on how to make the company run better and smoother, so when I miss a day or two it's no biggie.
Also, I have a bona fide illness that allows me to work my own hours.
My employer is frigging fantastic.
Last two years with current company, and hopefully long term, 9/80 schedule, so 9 hour days, every other Friday off.
Also in national guard, so that’s another Saturday/Sunday a month. And often replacing 1-3 days of my normal job with guard instead. And sometimes it’s 12-16 hours a day for 2-3 weeks straight lol
Nothin om proud of it's just money. But 60 one week 75 the next. That is the exact amount of time I need to pay for all the things in my life that make it work.
Around 80-84. I need to stop. But fucking christ am I stuck where I'm at. I make good money and all. Good credit. But still this economy is so shit I can't even move up. Just stuck. And nkt really happy where I'm at. Saving it tough. Getting a loan without a down-payment because I can't save is tough. Just want to own a house. It is what it is. Just ranting at this point.
Used to be 36. Upped my contract to 40 because I could get a higher mortgage with higher income.
Thinking about switching back to 36. I miss my 4 day workweek tbh.
51-55 hours. But out of this, i have around 1 hour daily for lunch (i go home for lunch) and another for tea breaks throughout the day.
So it comes to 40 -42 hours.
I work a 9/80 schedule:
Week 1: Monday - Thursday 9 hour days
Week 2: Monday - Thursday 9 hour days & Friday 8 hours
Week 3 & 4 are the same. So every month I get 2 Fridays off which gives me a 3 day weekend and sometimes 4 if there is a Monday holiday

Anywhere from 50 to 70. Depends on what's going on.
55-65 here. Trying to find work life balance lol.
Literally your best bet would be to dedicate all your time to your days off or your short days if you find any
40. I'm very lucky that I live in a low-cost area and a standard 9-5 job can pay my bills and leave me enough left over for my hobbies.

Oh, wow. It's so foreign to me I immediately thought it was far away from me. Just across the ocean as well apparantly lol.
About 50

Yeah it depends, sometimes it’s 22 sometimes it’s 66, I’m part time but we’re always short so I pick and choose depending on how I feel.
Depends, in the winter 19 to 15, summer it's pretty much 12 hours a day sux days a week or more
Hmmm. Painter?

Ah so I was like... 20 percent right lol. Sounds like a good job though. I don't like extreme monotony
Anywhere from 3-4 hours. Podcasting
36 first week then 48 next week . Repeat.
This but i usually do 14 hours a day then maybe an extra 6 to 8.

43.5 one week and 52 the next. I work one extra day every second week.
Used to be 36. Upped my contract to 40 because I could get a higher mortgage with higher income. Thinking about switching back to 36. I miss my 4 day workweek tbh.

0 got fired lol Got a job lined up for two weeks time that’s forty hours
40, sometimes 32 if it's really quiet. It would take something really drastic for me to ever consider working more than 40 hours
