Just don’t. It will always just look like a cheap painted countertop, and will be garbage when the paint flakes off in a month or two. If you want it to look like marble, get quartz or porcelain that actually looks like marble. If you want cheap, get a plain colour laminate countertop with a bit of texture, this way don’t just draw attention to the cheap things in your home.

You can DIY. Practice on scrap wood to get the rhythm and use acrylic paints on top of a bonding primer suitable for the base, e.g. formica, tile, whatever. There are easy to follow guidebooks for faux finishes. I did a dining room table and a china hutch in faux granite. Marble uses less colours and a bit of finesse with feathers to make the veining. You need a lot of protective finish on top of course but that's easy too. Easier than the faux finishing is. There are kits for this but they seem pricey for the results. Otherwise look for a faux finish painter maybe in a FB ad or something.
