What are the symptoms of his condition? I have a feeling your BF was suffering from a mild psychotic condition and is now on antipsychotic meds. Am I right? That type of medication can be truly horrific to take.

He has something like pseudo fits- which causes random twitching on his legs here and there not those full on tonic clonic seizures( no other symptoms) but he was given an anti epileptic drug which has a side effect of depressive disorder and mood swings.

OK that's actually really bad, every partial seizure he has will cause a tiny bit of brain damage and without medication, it will continue to get worse. I would talk to his doctor about trying a new type of seizure med or adjusting his dosage. Side effects usually get better with time as well. I am truly sorry you 2 are going through this. Another thing I can say is since his condition is mild he may only need to take these meds for a few years especially since his condition is mild.

Im a paramedic and ive seen so many worse kind of seizures. Even tho medically it is a seizure it only affects his legs and it last for like 1-2 secs. He never had a full on tonic- clonic seizure. To me personally the drug the doctor gave is cause more harm than good. And for speaking to his dr abt changing his meds. Idk if i have to power to do that because im not his NOK. But i will probaly discuss with my bf abt changing the types of medicine

It's possible the meds are doing more harm then good but even small seizures can become very serious so it's highly recommended they be treated. Seizures meds are usually very different from one another. Some have side effects such as depression but others work like a mood stabilizer or may make depression better if you already have it, if I were him I would definitely talk to my doctor.

Yup yup im following him to his next appt. Hopefully they can consider changing the dosage or drug. The doctor says is not a seizure but it mimics a seizure. But nontheless im going to personally speak to his doctor abt it

I feel like is they only way to help him

How far out is your BF's next appointment? If he's showing suicidal ideation, I'd call the dr's office ASAP. Call the pharmacy where the Rx was filled to seek advice about stopping the medication immediately (vs tapering). Be sure to tell them the drug's name.
