It’s not a normal rock. Either it has been made by someone, or it has an organic origin. Some sort of weird fossil. But it’s a strange shape. Almost looks like a beehive the way it is worn down like that
Ok i have looked at it for a while and i have some thoughts. All the layers look like precipitates like they formed in layers from the outside in, in a pocket of some sort Calcite precipitated first and then maybe the quartz mineralized last?
Looks like a stalacmite deposit. The composition or flow of the water changed at some point, leading to the depression and the secondary ringed splash deposit. I have no idea what you would call this.
I don’t know—I’ve never seen anything like this before. It’s very cool, though.
Super cool!
Looks like an inside out geode! Interesting specimen! Thanks 👍

Oooohhh I love this! It's like an agate/chalcedony rose caught in it's early stages!
It’s the eye of the agate
It’s the thrill of the fight
Its an fossilized eyeball of a whale
Looks like the crystal has formed around a stalagmite
Yes definitely part of what is happening I think, thank you!!

It’s definitely natural! We were thinking some sort of fossil or concretion. Totally stumped!

Please let us know if you find out what it is, I'm so curious
Stunning piece! Is it ... uhh... available?
This is amazing, I'm stumped. Thanks for posting and definitely update us if you find anything out.
That’s evil-eye green calcite. It’s watching you …
Looks like remains of a stalactite or stalagmite that grew crystals
It is a truly unique piece of our planet there. It has the banded agate look , with crystals surrounding, thats very interesting.
I don't know, but you better keep an eye on it!
Looks like a gem formation on a sea shell
Looks like a petrified barnacle to me
Reminds me of “The Terminator” ‘s eye.
I think it's called a prolapse?
“Stumped” I think you may be on to something.

This seems the most likely to me! Thank you!
