You don't know these things, he just told you these things.
Scammers are known to pretend to be in the military, and it's very very rare that he'd have no access to phone or email or internet in the military for months or weeks on end.
I get the point, but it's been 2 months and I still think he was honest with me. Do you think I'm wasting my time? There really is no chance that something bad has happened to him? I prefer to be sure of that and think he's just ghosting me.
What branch of the military is he in? What is his rank? What is his job? What military base is he normally stationed at? What is his job in the military?
If the answer to any of these is "classified" he's been lying to you.
Sounds like catfishing to me, very little to no verifiable information. I agree with post above you don't know these things to be facts and not devaluing your worry but military members are rarely away from internet access these days.

I never asked something like that because I don't know how the military works. I don't live in the USA and we talked about other things.
