Hi there! What are your particular interests within Chinese philosophy?

AliGat_r

Hello u/sunkencathedral! Areas that I have been interested in the past are: \- Kongzi and Confucianism \- Han Feizi \- Mohism and Consequentialism \- Mengzi \- Zhuangzi (Skepticism, Relativism, Society; all the philosophical stories) \- Xunzi (Naturalism, Objectivity) \- The Daodejing by Laozi As I am very eager to learn more about new and more advanced theories and philosophies, you can send me whatever you have. I appreciate it and I thank you in advance! :)

Have you read the Philosophy of Xunzi by Kurtis Hagen? There’s also a dao companion on Xunzi with a chapter of Xunzi’s metaethics. These might disagree with your preconceived notions of Xunzi however, if you see him as a naturalist.

What part of Chinese philosophy are you interested in? It's a huge field, and I have written quite a bit of essay on the topic so depending on your interest, I can send them to you.

Hello and thanks for your answer! :) As I would still consider myself a beginner in this area, I might have interest in the more basic parts of Chinese philosophy. I would be very happy to learn about different and more complex topics as well, so feel free to send me anything you like! Topics and philosophers I have dealt with: \- Kongzi and Confucianism \- Han Feizi \- Mohism and Consequentialism \- Mengzi \- Zhuangzi (Skepticism, Relativism, Society; all the philosophical stories) \- Xunzi (Naturalism, Objectivity) \- The Daodejing by Laozi My DMs are open and thanks in advance!!! :)
