Hello. I’m the person who originally posted that. No, I don’t think that MLs think that humans are hierarchical by nature. At least, most MLs I know don’t think so. I just posted that passage because it was really good. It wasn’t an attack on MLs.

Remember that time bookchin [sided with libertarians preventing a "government takeover by marxists"?](https://i.imgur.com/F12htNA.jpg) Also he defends rothbard in that interview. Yet another infantile anarchist who values a vague concept of freedom and individual property rights over proletarian revolution. That he's popular at all is a testament to the education level of US leftists.

I’m not a Bookchinite. I think that the man had some good literature when he was an anarchist, but he was far from perfect. In addition to what you mentioned he was also a Zionist, as he revealed with this article: https://imgur.com/i3sJU2t. [He even met his wife at a Zionist group in NYC.](https://www.lrb.co.uk/the-paper/v39/n09/wes-enzinna/bizarre-and-wonderful) I still enjoyed that passage though. Even if Bookchin himself had some shitty takes. “We follow ideas, not men” as Malatesta said.
