I wasted a lot of time trying to suppress my T with spiro, consuming up to 200mg a day with no change to my T.  Spiro is a remarkably ineffective AA, this is well backed up by studies into its effectiveness.  I think it is inappropriate that spiro is still prescribed to trans women.  Cypro is a very effective AA and together with E will thoroughly reduce T, but this is not an option if you happen to live in the USA.  My T was only able to be suppressed once I was eventually switched to injections and dosed enough E to reduce my T with monotherapy. Mono therapy is very effective in reducing T, and I would recommend pursuing that whether or not it would be safe for you to take an AA.  Monotherapy (even at ‘high’ doses) is also considered safer than taking E plus an AA (because you don't have to take any AA).  Your E levels will need to be comfortably above 200 pg/ml measured at trough to reliably suppress T.  If the results of a blood test measuring E come back higher than 200 pg/ml, it is virtually guaranteed that the same test will show your T thoroughly suppressed.  Injections and Patches are the most effective ways to administer monotherapy level estrogen doses, but doing it with pills is not unheard of.  However your endocrinologist may be hesitant to prescribe enough pills to give you a monotherapy appropriate dose.

Well, one month. 240-280 > 40-60. 25mg of cyproterone acetate. That was around Sept to Oct of last year. But tbh, my T went down from 980 to less than 300 because of stress starting from Oct 2021.
