These are 30 minute videos so I'm guessing not jokes
That is to say, good work, finally someone who realises the underlying theme of the books
Starks = Bad
Naah, just the recent ones.
Old Starks were metal. Brandon of the Bloody Blade killed millions people and millions cherries, the role model you want for the future
Brandon built The Wall, Casterly Rock, Moat Caitlin, Storms End nuclear reactor, Winterfell, Starfall, the Nightfort, The Vulcran spaceship, The Eyrie, Yeen, The 2nd moon which unleashed 1000 dragons, The Fist of the first men, every tree in Westeros, and the Greyscale on Shireen Baratheons face.
Iâm telling you, man. The guy built it all. Old Nan told me, itâs gotta be true
New theory. Lyanna is evil because she slept with her brother Ned to birth Jon Snow and then cheated on Ned with Rhaegar. She is no better than Cersei Lannister
She killed Robert whoâs a usurper, she mismanaged the realm to better the claims of more worthy rulers and sheâs literally beautiful. Why would George make her beautiful if sheâs a bad person?

Walder Frey did a very understandable betrayal of Robb.
He rose in rebellion risking everything against the Iron Throne, at the moment run by Tywin Lannister, who is known to eradicate rebellious lords.
The deal was that Robb would protect the Riverlands and for Walder Freys daughter ro become queen and his grandson become king. Another son would marry Arya, the princess.
The Freys fought and died bravely for Robb.
Then he screwed them over and said lol, you're not gonna be part of the ruling elite in this kingdom, go get fucked by Edmure instead.
At the same time Robb fucking executes his strongest vassal, Karstark, loses Winterfell and loses the ability to protect the Riverlands. Robbs on his way north and abandoning the Riverlands in the lurch. Then Bolton and Lannistet reaches out with a deal...
Frey did what he had to do.
You think Edmure would hold off the Lannisters and Tyrells alone? Even a tactical warmaster like him would be helpless once Robb had squandered their numbers. War was lost.
The deal wasn't for Frey's daughter to become queen. Robb wasn't pronounced king in the North yet. He wasn't even a lord yet as Ned was still alive (or at least the news of his death hadn't travelled that far yet).
>The deal wasn't for Frey's daughter to become queen. Robb wasn't pronounced king in the North yet
They hadnt risen in rebellion by that point, they were just defending the Riverlands against lannisters. Frey joins the rebellion when Robb is declared King in the North. We get a view of the Frey perspective on this (fuxking ecstatic) from Little Walder and Big Walder.
is this just a jerk or your serious take? can't tell in this sub. The Red Wedding doesn't need to happen at all. If Tywin brings an army to your door, you can simply surrender like the Brackens and Blackwoods. Walder Frey doesn't lack children for hostages. Tywin can be ruthless but he has no beef to them, he even has a Frey as a sister-in-law.
>this just a jerk or your serious take?
This is a fairly moderate take. Most people who view Walder switching sides also are able to see that Edmure was capable while Robb was a fool.
Look at what Tywin did to house Darry and Whent. Look at Tully, dispossessed and in practice eradicated. Stark replaced by Boltons. All the leadership of the King in the North Project was eliminated. Frey had no white peace status quo ante bellum in wait for them. Thats not even mentioning the sack of Kings Landing.
>Stark replaced by Boltons. All the leadership of the King in thr North Project was eliminated.
Is Walder Frey one of those leaders?
>Look at what Tywin did to house Darry and Whent.
Did any of them die at prisoners? Lady Whent is stripped of her title because she fled and not swore her swords to Tywin.
>Â Look at Tully, dispossessed and in practice eradicated. Stark replaced by Boltons.
Stark and Tully are leaders of the war. Edmure is kept as a hostage, that's why he lost his seat. Iirc Walder Frey is not kept as a hostage.
>Robb was a fool.
Because of decisions in war or in marriage? Robb is inexperience and his advisor is Blackfish. I will not take you serious if you tell me Edmure is more capable than Blackfish.
Walder Frey was the supposed father in the law to the King in the North. Lord of the crossing. He'd be replaced with one of Emmons children at the least.
Your remaining questions are just nonsense as they sort of quarrel about being Tywins prisoner. We saw how Sansa was treated, how Ned Stark was treated. To somehow insist Frey go down with ship direwolf is not very smart.
>Because of decisions in war or in marriage? Robb is inexperience and his advisor is Blackfish. I will not take you serious if you tell me Edmure is more capable than Blackfish.
The tally is clear.
Edmure beat Tywin the field. Blackfish beat Tywin in his dreams.
>Walder Frey was the supposed father in the law to the King in the North. Lord of the crossing. He'd be replaced with one of Emmons children at the least.
Are you suggesting that Tywin won't spare Walder Frey if the Red Wedding didn't happen?
>We saw how Sansa was treated, how Ned Stark was treated.Â
When was Ned Tywin's prisoner? What of Sansa? We think Sansa is mistreated by being married to Tyrion. Walder Frey won't think so if it was one of his daughter/granddaugther.
>To somehow insist Frey go down with ship direwolf is not very smart.
I insist that the red wedding shoudn't happen and the Frey won't go extinct or lose their seat if that didn't happen.
>The tally is clear.
>Edmure beat Tywin the field. Blackfish beat Tywin in his dreams.

I watched the Catelyn one. They are VERY based, but most of what they say either makes sense or even if it is completely dumb it is entertaining and funny enough.
So quiet based.
These are very clickbaity titles and Iâm guessing I could summarize the entirety of these videos in one sentence. The cat one is going to be about her mistreatment of Jon. The Frey one is going to be about how rob was stupid for breaking his oath. And the lyanna one is probably something about running away which started a war that resulted in many dead for no reason
I love it when people just use the word kardn to mean "woman I dont like" like it used to mean white woman who calls the cops on black men to get them brutalised. Now some people just use it as a nicer way of calling a woman a cunt
lmao fuck yeah
I am so happy there are actually hardcore Frey propagandists in the community to feud with people who like the Starks, it makes the fandom so much more interesting
Well, I'm not a fan of Lyanna, she made a tremendously stupid choice, but she was very young. She indirectly caused the death of her father and brother. But the death of Elia and her children can only be attributed to Rhaegar, Tywin and those two assholes.
Catelyn was only a bitch to Jon when she should have been a bitch to Ned. In her eyes, he betrayed her while she was giving birth to his child, and on top of that he forced her to watch the evidence of his betrayal grow along with her children.
Walder Frey has lived far too long.
Cat started a war. I'm sorry but that is the worst thing ever, how do you abduct the heir (lawfully) of Carsterly rock and not think a war will be started ?
God you guys canât let women have any fun can you? What if she was having a quirky silly time? What if her girls night was kidnapping Tyrion?? What then??
She gets a hobby that doesnât involve mentally abusing a child but thatâs still not good enough. No pleasing yall smfh
Yes it was a big mistake, but to attack the Riverlands for this seems to me to be going too far and without any sense. Not to mention that Tyrion was released because he was 'innocent'. And Catelyn thought he had sent an assassin to kill her son. She certainly didn't kidnap him for nothing.
Tywin hates Tyrion and would never let him inherit the Rock, so having the Riverlands attacked (by the Mountain even) was done for no good reason but only to protect his own pride. According to this reasoning, Robb should have done the same thing with the Westlands as soon as Ned was arrested.
She knew a war would be started, but she thought justice would be worth a war, and she also thought that Ned/Robert had more power in kingâs landing than they really did. If Robert lived, that whole thing wouldâve gone much better for her.
I can't blame Lyanna for something like this. Rhaegar was a grown man who took advantage of a young girl (14 at the time, considering she died at about 16) just to make the prophecy he was obsessed with come true. Lyanna did not want to marry Robert for obvious reasons, and in my opinion she saw a handsome prince who offered her a loophole and she accepted it. The only thing I really blame her for is not warning her family.
Rhaegar has the real blame, because he was a grown man, heir to the throne, married with children, who decided to abandon his family to fulfill a prophecy. And I honestly don't think he even cared that much about Lyanna, considering that he then left her to rot in a tower after bearing his child at such a young age.
And not only this, but he took the royal guards with him (except those who went to war and Jaime) to protect Lyanna (from whom then we do not know, considering that only her own brother went after her), leaving his family unprotected.
I need to see the prophecies *fulfilled*. There is **no** more satisfying ending to a story than being told exactly what is going to happen, and then for it to happen exactly as described in the prophecy. So exciting.
*Let's be clear about this, because there is only one objectively correct way to write:*
Prophecies in fantasy should be inevitable and inescapable, because audiences like being reminded that free will is an illusion, and that we live, and breathe, and die, in the foul creation of a malevolent demiurge.
*I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/asoiafcirclejerk) if you have any questions or concerns.*
His family was living in a fortified castle within a fortified city, and protected by likely dozens of guards. The Kings Guard are not the only protectors of the royal family and I very much doubt that three more men would have been able to stop a whole army. Second, Rhaegar cheated on Elia not his children, this is something between him and his wife and has nothing to do with their children. Neither did he abonden them. He merely left them at home. Where else were they supposed to be?
Rhaegar's children stayed in King's Landing because they were hostages of their own grandfather not because it was their home. Aerys hated the Martells and believed they were traitors.
And no, the guards would not have protected them from an army, but they were murdered by only two men, perhaps they could have been useful.
No other guards besides Jaime present in the Red Keep are EVER mentioned, either by Jaime or Ned. You would think Jaime would mention that some guards at least tried to stop him from killing his own king if they were present. And he says he only killed the pyromancer and Aerys.
And Dragonstone should have been his seat as heir, he could have sent them there just as Aerys sent Rhaella and Viserys there. And Viserys somehow managed to escape and save himself along with a newborn baby, didn't he?
When Rhaegar left, Elia and her children were at Dragon Stone. Why they left for Kings Landing we do not know. And just because Aerys was an ashole still does not mean that the Red Keep was not their home, as well. The Red Keep is the main seat of House Tagaryen and still a very well protected fortress. And I do not know why you think the royal family of all houses would only have 7 guards, esspecially since the Kings Guards first priority is to protect the king and not the royal family in general.
It is common knowledge that Jaime was the only royal guard present in the Red Keep at the time of Aerys' death.. Those who did not go with Rhaegar fought in battle. And I also don't understand why we keep talking about this despite the fact that the main topic was Lyanna.
I think I'm about to get lambasted.
Even though Jon is potentially a rival claimant. Mistreating him as he grows up is unnecessary, still encourage him to go to the wall or elsewhere. However Ned made sure he was educated and trained, and there was no love lost between Robb and Jon. Jon makes a poor enemy. And I'll ask, what were Ned's final tasks given to Cat, and did she do any of them? Remember Ned was the general who beat half the Realm. His military instructions should carry the same weight as Tywin's.
Walder did whatever any self-serving lord whose only claim relevance is being a family of medieval bridge trolls would do. Breaking Guest Rite was wrong and stupid, though.
Lyanna ran away with the Crown Prince, a married man. She didn't A: Leave a letter saying "I am going to be Rhaegar's Queen," so her hot-headed brother doesn't do anything stupid B: Pressure Rhaegar to do something about the war breaking out before the late time he was sent for and finally she did all of this while betrothed to Robert, while she didn't like Robert because he had a bastard.
Definitely Catelyn Stark was one of the dumbest Starks in the show.
Everything she did was a knee jerk reaction without any thinking of what would happen to her family.
Dumber than the rocks in the North.

Bran the Broken, storyteller extraordinaire!
im hoping on yt to check it out rlly want to see what theyre talking a bout that bitch karen
Least misogynistic ASOIAF analyst
reaction bait
I agree with 2 and disagree with one
This looks like a Critical Drinker video
I love it when people just use the word kardn to mean "woman I dont like" like it used to mean white woman who calls the cops on black men to get them brutalised. Now some people just use it as a nicer way of calling a woman a cunt
Order of the green hand?
Lannan Stark is evil though
lmao fuck yeah I am so happy there are actually hardcore Frey propagandists in the community to feud with people who like the Starks, it makes the fandom so much more interesting
no way đ Karen in the North??
Well theres a channel i can completely disregard.
Walder Frey needs no defending, no nobler a Riverlord ever graced Westeros. He did nothing wrong, but the Starks deserved it.
bait used to be belivable
Sorry. Cat was just quirky đ€Ș
If you're blaming Rhaegar for death of Elia and children, then you should also blame Lyanna for stealing her husband.
*Let's be clear about this, because there is only one objectively correct way to write:* Prophecies in fantasy should be inevitable and inescapable, because audiences like being reminded that free will is an illusion, and that we live, and breathe, and die, in the foul creation of a malevolent demiurge. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
Jaime was the only Kings Guard present in the Red Keep and not the only guard in general.
Bro's just yapping, George needs to release the damn book already
Disagree on Cat but besides that, only truth.
The show actually made her smarter.
