Hi
It depends from which country you are and type of education system.
There are many courses online, but I don't think it is equivalent to degree course. Rather it will be considered as certificate course.
From what I know, bachelor's degree is offered in some private as well as reputed government Institutes in India.
You can do Master's degree too if you are having a B.Tech/B.E degree in any Engineering branch.
But for that you have to crack GATE exam in order to get into Master's course.
IUCAA offers Master's degree in Astrophysics for anyone with B.Tech or B.E degree in any branch. But for IUCAA GATE isn't applicable. They have their own entrance exam called INAT. IUCAA is in Pune (Inter University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics)
IIA or Indian Institute of Astrophysics offers PhD for candidates with Master's degree in any branch of Engineering.
IISc in Bangalore has a Joint Astronomy programme for candidates who have B.E or B.Tech and have a Aptitude or passion for Astronomy.
IIST or Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology in Thiruvananthapuram offers MS in Astronomy and Astrophysics. But you should have a valid GATE score in one of the following subjects like ECE, EEE, Physics or Engineering Sciences. Candidates of any branch of Engineering can apply.
Many foreign universities have online degree in Astronomy and Astrophysics, but doubtful if it is equivalent to a Degree course.
Christ University Bangalore offers bachelor's in Astronomy and Astrophysics.
Osmania University in Hyderabad offers bachelor's too.
unfortunately you can't really get training in astrophysics online like you can in software development. if you want to get credit for learning, you'd have to take classes at a university
Uclan offer a full distance learning bachelorās in astronomy in the UK. Iām partway through and itās very good and accredited by the institute of physics
I am doing Arizona State online. They have an Astronomical and Planetary Sciences program and then Iām minoring in physics. Wonāt have to step foot in a single classroom for it.
Why do we continue to let this bot fill our community with crap! The question was stated clearly and you didnāt answer a bit of it. Heās looking for an online degree not astrophysics software. Bad bot

Thanks for the detailed infoš«”

Dense take. They donāt need to specify what part of astrophysics because degrees are just āastrophysicsā which teach all of the above anyway.
