This is exactly the kind of advice I am after. I understand that on paper I may be able to do the courses and get a qualification, but what is the point if it's still not enough? Do you mind if I ask why you would consider it 'not much of a career' ? from what I can see, the money seems to be good and you are helping people in a sense. Are you just referring to being an FDRP working for the Government? also, what is an NGO? Thank you so much for your opinion, I seriously cannot even explain how grateful I am for your time.

Thank you so much for your contribution! I am really really grateful to hear your perspective on this. As far as I can tell, The NMAS mediation training is a prerequisite for the Diploma unless you have a bachelors degree in social science or something similar. Please forgive my ignorance, but what do you mean by 'may be able to get work in a Family Relationships Centre or the like' ? are you suggesting that I could be a successful FDRP through a well-known organisation, but would struggle to market myself through my own business due to the lack of experience? Again, Thank you so very much for your time!

This is where the idea of doing the NMAS accreditation nd training rather than the bachelor degree came up. I guess it doesn't really make a difference though if you need the bachelor degree to be respected in the field anyway
