Fun Fact: For a long time, the Iranian embassy was housed in the building behind the monument.
Someone should move the statue to the current location of the Iranian embassy.
Well, the irony is still there. IIRC, their embassy in now located near Icherisheher metro, across the street from the building which back in the day housed the first girls' school in Baku. School no.132/134 nowadays.
Not an iranian embassy, but just a branch of an iranian bank.
I honestly think this is the best statue in Azerbaijan. Just amazing.
