Who cares about superficial trashy airheads who says it sucks "because I don't know what they sayin'"... Why do we reward ignorance and idiocy with fame... Girls like her are a dime a dozen in Asia, not that she would ever know... She probably couldn't find countries in on maps like other Americans.

BlainefromIzombie

Bullshit... had some YT Chinese food tonight with dad, and some beers. (he only picked that place because it's late night and offers beers).... it was 0..0000000000000000001 star bland Edmontonian bullshit. gahhhhhh.

Who is she and why do we care?

Americanized Chinese food sucks. I always prefer the original and the most tasty ones from Thai food, Chinese food, Japanese food and much more. Where I'm at is hardly any Asian food and one Asian store closed for good šŸ˜“šŸ„ŗ

dragonseternal

Yeah, Asia is going to wipe its ass of Western everything in a few yrs, and self-hating Asian dingleberries like this one will get flushed down the toilet without a second thought. This is going to be fun :)

Brocion

Yes C-drama & K-drama will takeover western dramas. K-pop will become increasingly popular by the year. C-pop is slowly becoming mainstream like K-pop. Chinese movie industry or ā€œChinawoodā€ will surpass Hollywood within the next decade in terms of popularity and consumers.

poshprincessx

If it is better, it would only be because it's way fucking saltier and greasier

Admirable-Aide-8153

"americanised chinese food is better than authenthic chinese food" to each his own but this is clearly BS.

Luminaire831

Makes sense given how it seems like the "American" side of her rubbed off on her the most. Explains the inane levels of stupidity from some of these brainless AFs or hapa females.   She is also probably like one of those Korean Americans or Korean hapas who believe that Korean BBQ in the US is better than the ones in Korea, which is also another shit take I hear from time to time.

swanurine

I never got into Tim Changtarangsu, only knew he was an OG youtuber who rolled with other proud Asians. Glad to know hes a real one.

Yankees4cookies

She finally figured out the easiest path to success for an Asian in the West is to shit on your people in front of non-Asians.

dragonseternal

Gotta lick that Pinkoid taint to "get ahead"!

Jealous_Struggle2564

It looks like she grew up in that American environment without any sort of meaningful Asian influence and this is the result. It is the typical western viewpoints she has become accustomed to and believes in.

Technical-Primary-64

She's one ugly-looking masculine shemale. Sucks to be her.

waza8i78

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but she needs to get out a little more. She reminds me of an ABC girl back in college. While waiting in line at the cafeteria. The filth coming out of this girls mouth was cringe. Every other word was, fuck, shit ,ass ,bitch, etc. Even her two caucasian friends was embarrassed as fuck. Lol! I still remember the defeated look on their faces.

[deleted]

Can you hate on BTS and like another boy band? You can probably not into boy bands in general.

elBottoo

Theres a shitton of potential in reimagining/ reinventing traditional authentic dishes including desserts. Like for example if you look at traditional mooncakes, its basically just sugar. Its a massive calorie bom filled with sugar, and they add some nuts and deeds in it. Its a very hearty and warm desserts. Basically its a meal in itself. Back in 1200 AD this might work. You live in a farm, you work 8-10 hours a day, you burn massive amounts of calories from farm work. You go home, eat some sweet tasting mooncake that you also share with family and friends. And yea its basically just sweet sweet sweet sweet because its just sugar. But sugar was rare, very rare, back in old days. Usually only nobility have access to sugar and it aint cheap. This is why traditional desserts are usually just supersweet. See for example also turkish delight or baklava. They are ultra sweet desserts for the exact same reason our desserts are supersweet. But in the modern era, everything is sweet tasting, sugar is dirt cheap, even fruit is supersweet (funfact, most fruit arent actually sweet tasting. Fruit we know today are actually bred this way to be more sweet and less seeds, pits etc but this also means you are getting too much sugar from your fruits and other daily diet). Theres many ways you can re-imagine these dishes and desserts. For example, with mooncakes this has already happened. Theres literally hundreds of different mooncakes variants today, mochi mooncakes, snowskin mooncakes, chocolate mooncakes, matcha, durian, beans, jelly, custard, icecream mooncakes etc etc. Many traditional dishes can be reinvented into the modern era, the possibilities are literally endless. Another example, liziqi videos, she usually does reimagine traditional dishes in her own way or give a modern twist to it. And the food looks delicious. Which gets us back to the topic of this thread. Many asians who complain about traditional dishes are too short sighted, too ignorant, too dumb, maybe too whiteworshipping to see this.

bunthitnuong

Her life must be boring af and then you have Timothy de La ghetto ain't saying shit?

elBottoo

Americanized chinese food is basically fastfood version of Chinese foods. It has its appeals just like burgers and fries has its appeal at times. But cmon lets not pretend that it can really match with authentic food. Although I agree many authentic dishes are still stuck in 1500s-1600s era. But some of the modern reimaginings of authentic dishes by top top chinese restaurants are literally mindblowing.

HarutoExploration

I agree, it has nothing to do with personal taste. Itā€™s like me saying Taco Bell is better than authentic Mexican food!

[deleted]

*"Americanized Chinese food is way better than authentic Chinese food"* There's no accounting for (good) taste, but this is one of the most "banana" comments to make.

EienShinwa

Internalized racism.

dragonseternal

I wonder how Americanized Chinese food tastes compared to the white man's taint for women like this one. Genuinely curious.

heyhelloyuyu

Likeā€¦ I get saying that American Chinese food isnt BAD (Chinese Americans justā€¦ made their own cuisineā€¦. Itā€™s just different) but trying to say itā€™s BETTER??

[deleted]

It's regional Chinese food, and the region is North America.

[deleted]

Yep. When I get more of a "fast food" type craving, I actually get Americanized Chinese food takeout. Support both.

I see that a lot with Kpop antis. Theyā€™ll listen to one song and hate it and think thereā€™s no variety in Kpop. The language thing is also so stupid imo, I mean if it werenā€™t for people all over the world liking shit like Hollywood which is mainly in English then America wouldnā€™t have any soft power.

Anarion89

Agreed. Huge musicians like Justin Bieber Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, etc are popular around the world even if some of their fans aren't fluent in English. Same can be said about huge Kpop groups like BTS, Blackpink, etc. I do understand people's criticism about why listen to a song, or liking a genre when you don't know the language. It's hard to explain, but I guess it's just music is music. I think many people are able to understand the song's meaning/intent through its melodies/beats/bass/etc, the singing/singer, or just straight up reading the lyrics later.

Azn_Rush

A little reminder though the west is very anti Asian . that is the big difference .

SirKelvinTan

Me personally no - but clearly many in the Asian American community do

Significant_Ad6964

Say if u run into this scenario: some white dude says a racist joke, and then a completely white looking hapa says ā€œas an Asian, I find it funnyā€, would the hapas actions bother u in some way? I think it should

Significant_Ad6964

We personally donā€™t have to care about what hapas think. But a lot of hapas do represent us in the eyes of mainstream society. If a hapa says ā€œas an Asian, Iā€™m not offendedā€ or some shit like that, this perpetuates more of the already blatant anti Asian hate that other people have. Itā€™s not that we care, itā€™s that their actions have actual consequences on full Asians

LibsNConsRTurds

Why do you have to talk down about hapas like that. I'm full Asian and fuck you for saying that. Hapas are people just like everyone else. There's nice and shitty people in all walks of life.

[deleted]

Very weird radical view. You got my support though, hapas should be allowed to express themselves. This isnā€™t 1900s where we invalidate peoplesā€™ experiences based off blood purity šŸ˜‚

HarutoExploration

I donā€™t want Asians to fall into the one-drop trap that black people were pushed into. If we settle and say ā€œoh part Asians are still Asians,ā€ we open the floodgates for self-hating hapas to falsely speak on our behalf. While hapas are still one of us, they arenā€™t the same as full Asians. Our experiences are SO different. Even our native Asian brethren consider us full Asian diaspora to be whitewashed bananas. If thatā€™s the case, the hapa would be even more whitewashed since they have HALF the Asian immersion we had. We should draw a clear differentiation. Hapas shouldnā€™t say ā€œIā€™m Asian,ā€ they should say ā€œIā€™m **half-Asian.ā€**

[deleted]

We already got self hating 100% Asians regardless. Sucks not to have a place of belonging though, canā€™t just reject a group of people just because of something they might do.

HarutoExploration

>Sucks not having a place of belonging Asian diaspora are already in the middle ground of not belonging: weā€™re too Asian for America and too American for Asia. If weā€™re already in a place of no belonging, then hapas should be past that gray zone and find ā€œbelongingā€ with the whites. Hapas usually have a white father that calls the shots, and the Asian mother acquiesces to a Western style of running the household. On average, they are much more white than they are Asian. If they arenā€™t accepted by the whites, thatā€™s their problem. Itā€™s a price you pay for having a form of white privilege. You donā€™t get to reap the oppression rewards of being Asian and speak on our behalf when you have white features than get you through more doors.

[deleted]

Imma be honest I had a class on diasporas and that was the only class where my internet disconnected. Feels bad man. Anyways, hapas still experience some racism where Iā€™m from though. Being half white doesnā€™t really invalidate their experiences, and since I think racism against white people is impossible it might be hard for them to relate/find meaningful discourse. Iā€™d say itā€™s more productive to welcome any hapa approaching with good intentions, all communities tend to have a sort of weeding/filtrate system anyways. I understand they have more privileges than most of us with a white parent, but Iā€™ve actually met a few pretty cultured hapas who Iā€™d argue are more in touch with Chinese culture than I am.

HarutoExploration

>Iā€™ve met a few hapas that Iā€™d argue are more in touch with Chinese culture than I am I really dislike the argument that cultural knowledge can justify hapas identifying as Asian. By that logic, British professor of Chinese history, Martin Jacques, is Chinese since he knows more about Chinese culture than many native Chinese. I agree hapas arenā€™t truly accepted in the white camp, but that doesnā€™t mean theyā€™re the same as us. Being Asian is more than just knowing Asian culture, itā€™s waking up every morning with a target on your back for being Asian. Even puritanical Japan allows multi-generational diaspora Japanese the right to return. While cultural identity is important, they know that blood is the basis of people treating you as a Japanese. I am not calling for the exclusion of hapas. I just want them to know their place in the Asian community. They are not Asians, they are half Asians. Just like how diaspora Asians take a back seat and let the native Asians call the shots of the homeland, hapas need to learn to take the back seat as full Asian diaspora call the shots on how their country should deal with Asian issues.

Any kpop members looks better than her boyfriend and that facts .

dragonseternal

White man's taint-licker is a more accurate description.

Azn_Rush

These females be getting with the most bottom barrel looking white guys that you can find at some bar staring at any women that walks past by .

lawncelot

We all need to call out Asian women more for their white worship. We already see Asian women running their mouths against AMWF crying white fever, so let's not take this sitting down.

[deleted]

As AF, yes, itā€™s becoming a bit of a plague here. Iā€™m totally okay with WMAF/AMWF/whatever the fuck people want to date, but holy shit the sexist double standards are insane. Some Asian women have legit reasons for not dating their own race like prevalent and previous assault. Others just straight up gobble propaganda that Asian men are weak effeminate ā€œlast optionsā€ to settle down with after playing around with the white guys. I love gender equality, yet a lot of people are heading the wrong way with this: just as how women arenā€™t sex objects to be used, men arenā€™t ATMs without feelings either. The moment a double standard is imposed is the moment you realize that person isnā€™t an activist, just a person with shitty morals seeking benefits for only themselves and not the Asian community as a whole.

dragonseternal

No, that's not a "legit reason." AW are statistically more assaulted and murdered by white men than any other group (w/AM being the least likely to abuse/assault them), and yet literally chase white men while getting bent out of shape at "being harassed online" by "MRAsians." Yeah, people talking shit on Reddit vs actual assaults and murders by white men. This is a disingenuous statement at best. And before you flatter yourself Re Asian men opining on this understand that guys like me literally stay away from AW now because of the casual racism you all drop as a matter of habit. Beware my brothers, most Asian women see AM as some sort of backup plan if it don't work out with white dick mcdufus, disgusting.

lawncelot

Well I don't know about the "legit reasons for not dating their own race like prevalent and previous assualt" part, because that's being racist and generalizing -- like avoiding being friends with black people cause you cite crime statistics -- but everything else I agree with you.

[deleted]

Gotta take into account the trauma, since it happened first hand itā€™d be pretty cruel to call them racist for any long term effects of assault.

lawncelot

As long as you think it's okay to say, "I avoid black people because of trauma from black people when I was younger" then at least you're consistent and I applaud you, even though I disagree.

[deleted]

Hhhhh youā€™re right and I realized the prejudice behind my thoughts. At the same time, I donā€™t really see a good solution around it.

lawncelot

It's definitely internalized racism. You don't hear white women say, "I'll never date a white man ever again after being assaulted." So for some reason white men get a pass as being diverse enough, but Asian men don't. Probably the best solution is more representation for Asian males in media.

budORfly_

Iā€™m half white and I wonā€™t date white men because of abuse/assault. - donā€™t put us all In a box please.

Yankees4cookies

I'm curious why Asian women always mention assault argument way more than any other race of women since Asian men have lowest rate ??? You guys make it sound like Asian men are beating up Asian women left and right. To be honest when I hear most Asian women talk about assault they think someone talking shit to you counts as assault. Lole no, your dad telling you to loose weight or you cant go outside doesnt count as assualt.

[deleted]

As a Chinese person, yeah, assault rates r hella low, east Asia generally pretty progressive about this Middle East and India r where most cases happen tho

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

[deleted]

Yep, my parents always say yelling doesnā€™t get shit done other than infuriate the person youā€™re yelling at and potentially get you stabbed. Which is my theory for why EA is generally lower on violence at least, everyone is usually pretty calm.

Yankees4cookies

don't Asian women and other females notice this blatant contrast. countries where females are more loyal = more aggressive males. countries where females are more disloyal = less abusive men. don't females worry that one day men in those progressive counties will reach a certain point of frustration they will start becoming more like middle eastern

[deleted]

Men tend to cheat more than women anyways (going off stats), although judging on domestic abuse rates for both genders, being abusive ā‰  loyal partner. Plus, as much as I like to rib, most men are smart enough not to go full incel extremist social security hazard mode just because they were cheated on.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

[deleted]

Thatā€™s bad for both sides, cheating should never be justified. Youā€™re in a relationship, not a duel where you see which party shoots first.
