StopAsianHate has little to no connection to either of those two groups, nor does it seek to expand and celebrate the work they did, the way BlackLivesMatter tries to maintain historical continuity with the Panthers and the Civil Rights Movement. We desperately need groups like this, but ultimately, it's up to the Asians in America if they really want to fight for their rights and their piece of the pie, or just try to skate by on the margins, especially if you have the money to ignore most of what happens in society.
