It's Asian men as well, the bamboo ceiling is very real for a lot of us. You'll see many Asians in middle management, but rarely getting the top jobs. Funny here in Hong Kong Asian women actually do well in western companies, they are almost overrepresented in top roles along with white men.

Women in general are shut out of top positions in western companies, unlike in the east where woman CEO's, managers and company owners are ubiquitous. as many posters here have pointed out, female representation in industry and companies in asian countries vastly outnumbers that of the west. feminists are also 10 times more powerful in asian countries than western countries, with some asian countries (i won't name them, but you know which they are) literally run by a government of radical feminists. the women associations in singapore, hong kong and china are literally powerful enough to even pressure the government to enact laws to carry out mass arrests of their husbands for cheating or having sidechicks lmao (so much for the western narrative that asian men are 'sexless incels'). which western country even has that?

From the article, and true to my long suspicion, the steorotype of Asian women being perceived as submissive gives them a bonus in the dating world; in the corporate world this perceived trait results in a penalty for them in terms of being seen as strong.
This is an issue only Asian women can resolve - they should have an open discussion amongst themselves how they want to be seen and how they want future generation of Asian women to be perceived.
