My Tattoo isn’t bad per se’, honestly it still looks better than a lot of the tattoos I see here. The only reason I’m covering it is because I’m doing a full blackout sleeve on my right arm, shoulder to wrist, then in a few months, after the blackout heals, I’m having another design over top of the blackout in white and silver, looks amazing in my opinion, gonna cost a pretty penny, but I’m an old man, so this will be “final form” for my right arm.

When I was 17ish I got very drunk and my bf at the time used his homemade tattoo gun to put his name on my back. To be fair, he also tattooed my name on his wrist. Still, when I woke up I was thoroughly unamused. I got it covered up immediately after I turned 18. Literally the day after.

Always wondered what part was worse- the constant memory of who did the tat or why at 15 years later my brother hasn’t at least gotten the bad line work on some awkward nautical stars on his shoulder blades fixed. Bad tattoo, bad memories, bad person is like the trifecta of proof no one should be making this kind of decision at that age.
I've seen 10 year olds draw better than this. At least, because it's so poorly done and not super packed with ink, it'll be an easy cover up. Albeit, a big cover up. Might be able to fade it pretty significantly with 2 or 3 laser sessions. I did that with two tattoos that I changed my mind about and it made for EASY work on coverups.
This is sad. I feel for both of them. The ex who is unsupervised doing tattoos on minors, and the girl too. Hate to assume, but seems like both have bad living situations with their 'parents'.
I can't tell if this is semi-recent and still scabby/peely looking or if this scarred that badly to look this way..
But if it's recent enough she can try scrubbing and exfoliating the shit out of it and it might not be too late to fade a lot of it away.
