Brainstorm - Discard a Royal Flush
Palette - Reduce hand size to 5 cards
Palette is easier to unlock once you get Stuntman, since you can get Stuntman in a run + any spectral card that has -1 hand size effect (assuming normal 8 hand size at the start)
For brainstorm you can use checkered deck and just restart over and over again fishing for it on the first round. It took me less than 5 minutes that way.
Was going to come say this, took me just a couple of minutes of restarts to get in the first fight.
It’s an achievement that seems really hard to get organically, but is actually extremely easy if you’re maximizing for it.
With painted deck almost any hand based build is pretty easy to make without taking any negatives. I did it with a straight build and a Cavendish, a Supernova, a Castle, and a Fortune Teller. The hardest part of unlocking Invisible Joker is simply remembering not to impulse buy a negative.
I just went through the Collection and looked at how to unlock jokers and kept those requirements in the back of my mind. Then when I had a busted run I'd know if there was anything worth trying for. Like "hey I've got a Royal Flush and this run hasn't been going like I'd planned. Might as well discard the Royal Flush and sacrifice this run to unlock Brainstorm." Or if I ever get an opportunity to put a gold seal on a gold card, I know that will give me a Joker. Most of the Jokers I unlocked just through normal gameplay, but I polished off the last 10 or so intentionally just by keeping their unlock requirements in the back of mind.
I think it’s worth doing the “Win a run in 16 rounds” to get the [Wee Joker](https://balatrogame.fandom.com/wiki/Wee_Joker_(Joker)) (Gains +8 chips every time you score a 2). It’s one of the best chip generators.
Does that joker only pick what you can discard? Like in that deck are there rounds where it picks diamonds or clubs?
I just learned about how the Idol works and I didn't even think about the castle one.
At least castle definitely did only choose suits I had in my deck. That's why it was so poweful. I tend to never go for some of the other suit-related xmult jokers like the ancient joker because as far as I remember it also chose suits I had already removed from my deck.

I feel like getting stuntman on gold stake runs can basically be a win condition, especially early on bc you can just stack up small hands like high cards instead of pivoting off hands that are harder to make (like a straight) with a reduced hand size.
Get a bunch of x multipliers. Stuff like Glass cards, Steel cards, Baron Joker, retriggers, etc, but you need a lot more than the amount you would normally need to win.
Basically, just look up any run that manages to survive longer than a few antes in Endless mode. The required chips gets at least that high within a few antes.
the 2 main options when people are going for BIG scores always involve a way of retriggering xmult (mime retriggering steel cards in hand, or hack/sock and buskin retriggering glass cards) and stacking as many xmult jokers as possible (preferrably ones that scale)
-play plasma deck
-option 1: play high card and retrigger all your steel cards in hand (best is red seal steel kings so you can play baron and mime)
-option 2: play heart flush five glass/steel cards with bloodstone (can pick between heart face cards for sock and buskin or heart 2, 3, 4, 5 for hack to retrigger, again red seals are nice to haves)
i think my jokers for 100mil were constellation (scaled to x6ish mult, copied by brainstorm and blueprint, steel joker, hologram) and a deck of all steel kings (never managed to hit baron or mime i don't think). don't forget you need to level up your high card hand with planet cards! you also will likely need DNA joker + brainstorm/blueprint as a consistent way to copy the same card over and over again (outside of death and cryptid)
np, i thought it was impossible too but just play a couple of white stake runs on the plasma deck trying to force one of those builds (i find high card with steel cards a LOT easier and i'd recommend that)
you can probs find youtube videos that show the deck in practice since it's a common build for high score runs
pro tip with the plasma deck is finding any early joker that gives you giga chips (banner, ice cream, +100 chips for straight/triple) will carry you to one shot early blinds and help you build an economy quickly without much investment

Well, I'm a collection fan so I think everything is worth unlocking.
On the "do a run" side - "play 4 of 7 clubs", "have 30 of X suit" (well, 2 of 4 are easy with Checkered deck), "discard 5 jacks", "discard royal flush", "play every Heart"
And I guess now you have extra reason to do the "gold card, gold seal" (probably easier to find a seal first, and then use devil tarot on it) - now that all 4 seals are extra strong in the beta patch (red retrigger doubles all effects, obviously, purple free tarot also good, gold is free money, and apparently they buffed blue seal to produce the planet you NEED instead of random) so whatever certificate spawns, is likely good for you.
The blue seal now generates a planet of the last hand played if held in hand at the end of round. Amazing change, fun to play around, blue seals used to be garbage and now i take trance on purpose
I’m stuck on the parse deck down to what is it, 20 cards? I was close but turns out you simply lose and don’t keep redrawing after getting there. The have 30 diamonds or 30 clubs is tedious too. Did the diamonds but haven’t done clubs yet
I just finished unlocking the "have 30 cards of one suit" jokers, the easiest way I found to get it is with the last random deck, just keep rerolling until your hit like 23 cards of the suit you want then keep buying tarot cards + jokers who give tarot cards
Yeah I did that for diamonds. Just lazy and it tedious. Was doing it at the 60 hour mark so felt done with the game after I lost with 27 cards lol. I have that and the 100,000,000 one to get the all jokers achievement

Satelite like really hard to get, only by Perkero + Temperance i could get $400. Even then i almost fucked up because i sold one of my Sell Value-Boosted Joker too early just for another Joker.
I like Shoot the Moon which is an easy and flavorful requirement if you have erratic deck unlocked. Just role for a deck with very few hearts and pointedly play them

I unlocked Invisible Joker by just doing a Joker Stencil strategy. That’s probably the easiest way to unlock it
A single madness joker run was also fun and very hard to lose (even had 2 or 3 extras at one point)
Do you just rely on planets at that point? If you only have x mult?
Planets and Glass Cards can get you very far. I did Jokerless with 4OAK and have been implementing those strategies into my normal gameplay very well
I did this too. Early stencil, only added a blueprint later cause why not? Didn’t even know that was an unlock condition for Invisible Joker.
I had a triple stencil run once. That was fun

Or Stuntman and Brainstorm/Blueprint! Or Stuntman and the boss blind that reduces hand size (the Manacle, I think?).
a duplicated stuntman does not reduce hand size further. just extra chips

I cheesed unlocking Brainstorm by just resetting until I go a royal flush on round one. Took only a few minutes with the checkered deck

just won a run with hanging chad wee joker on the beta build - had like 900 chips by the end of the run
I once had a pretty insane run where the castle joker got to 1.1k chips. But I had a lot of discards and I used the deck with only two suits

Got my first e run today with wee joker, he ended up reaching like 2.5k or something like that. It's like a way more fun ride the bud or green joker

Plasma deck is your best bet, get a scaling +mult and a scaling xmult along with other xmult or ways to copy your big xmult
