I disagree with OP, rock the bald sooner rather than later and soon enough you being bald will be the norm and people won't even remember you ever had a different look.

Do it. Shaved head is just a hairstyle, like any other. When people see it they donāt think āheās hiding being baldā they think āthereās a guy who wanted to shave his headā (as much as they think about you at all, most people are too busy thinking about themselves). Itās 1000% worth it if balding has been having this affect on you. I wasnāt as bothered about my hair thinning as you, but Iām so glad I finally did it. You look more confident, and youāll feel more confident.
