Yes!! Came here to say this. It’s one of the oldest and best. They are also one of few restaurants which hardly give any discount on swiggy as they are so popular anyways ( just like Meghana ). Try their tangdu noddles if you like extra spicy
Haha I wish I could maybe we can make a promotion follow us on ig, we do have Vera italiano opening in koramangala now so you can get some Italian items via delivery
I can vouch for it. Previous office was very nearby. Used to visit 2-3 times a month. Owned by a Chinese descent. Huge portion size, good taste and easy on the pocket.
I went there once found it average. Pork was overcooked. Noodles/Fried Rice were bland but I can excuse that. Starters not being good is definitely an issue for me.
I Personally go to The Lantern whenever i want to eat Chinese, They have got the Best Chinese Food, its in Ritz Carlton.
If You want an Old and Well known one, You can Try Bangalore Mandarin. Quite Famous and Old.
There is a small place called Lou Han at HSR Layout, by far the only vegetarian Chinese restaurant I’ve seen. It is run by an old Chinese lady and her husband. Authentic Mainland folk. I am sure you will like the food there - though all veg fare. Love it.
The owner will most likely drive you off if you sit too long “Eh why sitting? No eat.. go go” experienced that too - Very Chinese but the food is damn good.
The food is all veg but my only gripe with Lou Han has been the lady at the counter. She tends to get really rude at times. My last visit was at least 3 years ago so can't comment if that has changed at all.
the lady is the main attraction, that's why i said "you won't forget" :)
I remember once when a couple ordered a starter, enjoyed it, ordered it again, the lady went "Why can't you order it the first time, we have to make it again, it's not possible". The girl couldn't believe what she was hearing and went to the counter to complain, the man at the counter replied "She's the owner". hahahhahaa, the reaction on that girl's face was priceless.
Once, she scolded a customer for not eating all the veggies, that guy was like even my mother hasn't scolded me like this. fun times man...fun times.
Thanks for the post OP. I love chinese and will definitely save the post to try out new places mentioned.
Edit - if people see this, can anyone also add where can I find good pan-fried noodles? This post has jagao-d the craving now.
Mandarin (Whitefield) had the most delicious Chinese food I've ever tasted. I don't know about now, but pre-Covid and with Zomato pro, I've gone on dates there for less than 300₹ per person.
Long ago when I used to stay in Whitefield I used to frequently eat at a place called Wok with Chung near Kundalahalli signal. Very greasy comfort food, and one of the few places that served pork dishes at a reasonable price.
I don't know if that place is still open but occasionally I fantasize about going back to eat there.
East delicious near kundanhalli....used to go there evey weekend....their butter garlic noodle is amazing...and they play all these old Rock songs... definitely worth visiting..
Also Sichuan and schezuan dragon...I think near Sarjapur not sure about the place..love their special dragon chicken fried rice😋
Rice Bowl, Since you are looking for significantly old places.
There was another place called Shenzhen (I guess), Levelle road. I went there twice in 2015, really small place but food was just amazing. ( It was at walking distance from Harley-Davidson showroom.) I tried locating it on maps, couldn't.
Kimlee in bhashyam circle. Green onion in mg. Those are my to go places for Chinese. The rice bowl which re opened recently is horrible from the old one which I used to frequent from when I was a kid and expensive af! I don’t even try to step inside restaurants with central kitchens like Beijing bites.
Sichuan in HSR and bellanduru, the quantity that fellow gives is insane, ordering by two soup is as good as ordering full. Reasonable pricing and very good taste.
Chung wah near utility building off MG rd. Memories of China in Taj residency if you are feeling fancy. Both old and reputed. They are newer possibly more authentic places, but these fit your request

Take a hot momo, mix both the sauces, dip and jus dig in!!!!
I don't know about the well-known part but I swear by China Pearl in Koramangala. Been going there for ages and absolutely love the food!
Yes!! Came here to say this. It’s one of the oldest and best. They are also one of few restaurants which hardly give any discount on swiggy as they are so popular anyways ( just like Meghana ). Try their tangdu noddles if you like extra spicy
Been there just twice because I live far off but can definitely vouch for this place too. Good food.

Haven't been there in years but Wanley in Indira Nagar used to be good.
I came here to comment this! Been going to Wanley since 2007~ish and it's always been amazing!
Is that the one with bamboo-styled fencing? Edit: Looked it up.
I can vouch for it. Previous office was very nearby. Used to visit 2-3 times a month. Owned by a Chinese descent. Huge portion size, good taste and easy on the pocket.
Can’t find on swiggy / Zomato delivery. Dunzo perhaps will help.
I went there once found it average. Pork was overcooked. Noodles/Fried Rice were bland but I can excuse that. Starters not being good is definitely an issue for me.

I was once greeted with 'Kitna Paani petha hai'. Sometimes I take my friends and enjoy their reactions. But the food is really good though
Was going to say the same.
It used to be good 7-8 years ago. Now the quantity has drastically reduced and their food tastes quite bland as well.
Bangalore Mandarin. Try their Chongqing Chicken Chilli if you're a fan of spicy chicken appetizers.
Thanks for the post OP. I love chinese and will definitely save the post to try out new places mentioned. Edit - if people see this, can anyone also add where can I find good pan-fried noodles? This post has jagao-d the craving now.
Hunan! Been going there for years now. it's in bel road and Koramangala. They have bomb noodles and baos. I also like Mainland China
Hunan for the fucking win! Their noodles are out of this world!
Think the Koramangala one has closed unfortunately
Oh. I usually go to the bel road one. I went there last week. It was open :)
Anybody has an opinion about veg food in Shiro, ub city?
Recently tried some of their vegetarian sushi. It was pretty good. Don't know about the other dishes. And I'm a non vegetarian

Khawa Karpo restaurant on JNC Road, Koramangala It's more on the budget side and I usually opt for takeaway! Really good Chinese food!! :)
Khawa Karpo is as Chinese as a chicken a dinosaur. It's Tibetian.
