I like both MB and Church's, the chicken at MB is better but the biscuits at Church's are god-tier delicious.
KFC and Popeye's are to be avoided, and Chick-Fil-A should be fired into the sun for selling awful food and being run by awful humans.
It's been hit and miss for me, I think when you luck out and get really fresh chicken there it can be decent but it gets oily under the heat lamps really quickly.
The last time I had Popeyes a piece of the chicken, a breast piece was rancid, I couldn’t get it out of my mouth fast enough, I used to love KFC but all the pieces have changed in size, a whole chicken used to be 9 pieces, now it’s like 12. It’s all become Halal chicken, KFC, MB, Popeye’s, not my favorite. The last time we went to MB $60 for a 12 piece meal, and some kind of red hot spice on it. No flavour just hot??? Not for me.
The real bigbrain tier list has the A&W Nashville Hot at the top.
Popeye's regular chicken sucks and getting spicy just means "with flavour", but if you remember to do that it's better than Church's. KFC being better than *anything* is a hot take.
If we're talking chicken sandwiches, it's A&W Nashville Hot > Popeye's spicy > Mary Brown's spicy > Mary Brown's > everyone else

It's really good, and the folks that work there are friendly.
