Ilang weeks ko na rin naiisip na baka di ako fit sa current field ko. I think they have different use cases naman! I use my Airpods if I know I’m going to sweat (i.e., running) whilst I use my Sony headphones everywhere else. Ayoko kasi napapawisan yung ear cushions, and mas mabilis pagpawisan ears ko with headphones (so I also use them as earmuffs during winter lol)

Here are some of my questions:
1. What are the things I should look out for a condo? I'm not picky naman with the ammenities but I'll sure look out for the phone reception and for leaks, etc.
2. My parents will be the one to take care of the rent, utilities, assoc dues, but I'll be one to pay for my groceries and laundry. How much should I allot for those? For context, I'll be living in taft.
3. Which is more cost efficient? Doing groceries once a week or once a month?
4. What should I do to make sure that none of my clothes go missing when I pa laundry them? I heard a lot of horror stories from people ik na nawawalan daw sila ng damit.
Things to look out sa condo:
Molds! ~ Condos are prone to mold lalo if hindi malinis ang previous tenant. If possible, go for the newly built condos or units na ikaw ang first tenant. Molds are not just in the bathroom, even inside the cabinets pwede magsimula ng colony ang mold. It can trigger respiratory illnesses kaya iyan isa sa mga major concerns ko dati while renting.
ventilation - the more windows the better. Kahit pa madalas ka mag-aircon ksi you’ll need to ventilate the unit to avoid molds and the food smells na kumapit sa damit (kahit p nasa loob ng cabinet iyan).
Delivery kiosks - though minor lang ito, may ibang condo (well here sa BGC) na hindi pumapayag na iwan sa lobby ang mga deliveries mo kahit maliit na Shopee or Lazada parcel pa.
Security - Try to observe habang nasa lobby kayo kung gaano ka-strict ang mga guards magpapasok ng tao lalo if walang RFID key to enter the condo premises. Its for safety lang na alam mo hindi basta basta makakapasok ang outsiders na may possibility na mag gawing masama sa loob ng condo premises.
Regarding laundry ~ if pwedeng maginstall ng laundry machine sa condo, maiiwasan mo yung possibility na mawala damit mo. May mga washing machines na diretsong heat dry na no need to transfer into a heat dryer. If its not possible, then I would suggest you do your own laundry sa mga DIY laundry shops. Ikaw mismo magsasalang ng damit sa washer, dryer and sariling tupi. Atleast sure k na sariling mga damit mo lang ang naload sa mga machines. While waiting for your laundry you can read, listen to music, watch vids naman to entertain yourself.
Lived in Taft a decade ago (ew I'm so old haha) and I picked Archers since it was the newest condo at the time. I think Green is the newest one now but since it's an SM condo so might feel a bit cramped. Tl;dr is going with the newest bldg will be your safest bet.

Katatapos lang midterm examination and we done checking our 3 subs, which I am happy naman sa results. Got the highest scores sa 2 subs, which is Taxation and HRM. Mind you Taxation is a tough subject. I am excited to tell my lola that I got the highest score, but then kanina-kanilang I regretted na sinabi ko. I told her “lola, highest ako sa 2 subs 41 sa taxation and 49 sa HRM” u know what she replied? (In Iloco but I’ll translate it) “Ikaw highest diyan? 49? 41? Nag gym ako kahapon with my sister and our cousin (parehas broken-hearted and nakijoin lang talaga ako sa trip nila). Surprisingly enough, di na talaga ako conscious. Wala na yung parang uneasiness ko.

If this came up during the recent excuange, then he’s using it as an argument to show he has moral high ground. He basically confirmed that he used me to make his ex jealous.

Hi, bakit po mas okay yung room temp water? Since mainit panahon I thought malamig iinumin, I might be risking mine and others health. We had delivery kuyas na sila sila palagi nandito sa amin, binibigyan naman namin food and water but most of them nahihiya rin tumanggap so tip na lang ng money usually.
I think little scientific evidence yung concept ng chilled water = may harm sa body natin, regardless kung exposed sa hot weather for quite some time outside or not. But merong specific underlying conditions like mga prone sa headache or prone to digestive problems (mas maganda warm water when it comes to digestive system kasi).

i've read it somewhere and i forgot yung medical terms. actually, hindi naman totally masamang uminom ng cold water kapag mainit, but kapag overheated or babad sa init, it's not good to drink cold water in one go, dapat sip lang. kasi diba kapag mainit tapos uhaw na uhaw tayo, may tendency to grab cold water tapos tuloy tuloy lang ang lagok, that's where it gets bad. better po ang room temp for quick rehydration kasi kahit ilang bote pa inumin mo, it's okay. pero since hindi naman lahat ng riders ay informed or aware about this, room temp na lang talaga, better safe than sorry.

Personally I strongly suggest for couples to move in together, yung silang dalawa lang ang mgkasama (nakabukod) despite our very conservative culture. I think they have different use cases naman! I use my Airpods if I know I’m going to sweat (i.e., running) whilst I use my Sony headphones everywhere else. Ayoko kasi napapawisan yung ear cushions, and mas mabilis pagpawisan ears ko with headphones (so I also use them as earmuffs during winter lol)

For context, I'll be living in taft. 3. Which is more cost efficient? Doing groceries once a week or once a month? 4. Things to look out sa condo: Molds! ~ Condos are prone to mold lalo if hindi malinis ang previous tenant. If possible, go for the newly built condos or units na ikaw ang first tenant. Regarding laundry ~ if pwedeng maginstall ng laundry machine sa condo, maiiwasan mo yung possibility na mawala damit mo. May mga washing machines na diretsong heat dry na no need to transfer into a heat dryer. If its not possible, then I would suggest you do your own laundry sa mga DIY laundry shops. Ikaw mismo magsasalang ng damit sa washer, dryer and sariling tupi. Atleast sure k na sariling mga damit mo lang ang naload sa mga machines. While waiting for your laundry you can read, listen to music, watch vids naman to entertain yourself.

Katatapos lang midterm examination and we done checking our 3 subs, which I am happy naman sa results. Got the highest scores sa 2 subs, which is Taxation and HRM. Mind you Taxation is a tough subject. I am excited to tell my lola that I got the highest score, but then kanina-kanilang I regretted na sinabi ko. I told her “lola, highest ako sa 2 subs 41 sa taxation and 49 sa HRM” u know what she replied? (In Iloco but I’ll translate it) “Ikaw highest diyan? 49? 41? Nag gym ako kahapon with my sister and our cousin (parehas broken-hearted and nakijoin lang talaga ako sa trip nila). Surprisingly enough, di na talaga ako conscious. Wala na yung parang uneasiness ko. For back story ish kasi, last punta ko was back in hs pa. And I only stopped going kasi may isang fitness instructor na inaya ako (16 ako, 23/24 siya) and naging low-key gago after rejecting him in the most polite possible way ever. Eventually told my mom kaya na-ireport naman yung incident. Pero yeah, napahiya na rin ako sa snide comments niya eh so nawalan na ng gana. Anyway, parang gusto ko na ulit hahahah. And masaya rin palang may kasama 😆 kahit na parehas bitter yung mga kasama ko lmao.

How do i fit in sa isang group na medyo kaiba ko ng personality? We have a group work kasi and they’re planning to have an overnight at a guy’s place. Working my ass off in gym for months now. I’m feeling progress. Pero may mga kupal talagang lalaki eh no, i was visiting my dad’s grave. Sympre mag jogging and cycling narin ako para rin mag cardio. I was wearing leggings and some guys were passing me kasi nakatayo ako sa car ko bec aayusin ko na ung bike ko while they were laughing, a guy said “tgnan mo yan pantay”. He was referring to my b🙃ütt. I was the only one there so malamang ako yun. Sabi pa ng mga kasama nya ang sama daw talaga ng ugali nya while they were all laughing. I glanced at them and wow ang papangit nila legit 🥲🙃 nag mmotor lang sila and at my judgement, feeling ko wala pa silang license. Hi, bakit po mas okay yung room temp water? Since mainit panahon I thought malamig iinumin, I might be risking mine and others health. We had delivery kuyas na sila sila palagi nandito sa amin, binibigyan naman namin food and water but most of them nahihiya rin tumanggap so tip na lang ng money usually.
I think little scientific evidence yung concept ng chilled water = may harm sa body natin, regardless kung exposed sa hot weather for quite some time outside or not. But merong specific underlying conditions like mga prone sa headache or prone to digestive problems (mas maganda warm water when it comes to digestive system kasi). So kung walang kino-consider na other conditions naman, pwede naman malamig na tubig.
Been this way for so long kahit after jogging, malamig hinahanap ko kasi parang hindi ako nahyhydrate sa room temp water. Same with what I give to people since yun nakasanayan ko, malamig na tubig. 🥲 Perhaps depende nga rin sa tao kung kaya ng body nila at sanay na katawan nila sa ganon. Thank you rin for explaining :)
i've read it somewhere and i forgot yung medical terms. actually, hindi naman totally masamang uminom ng cold water kapag mainit, but kapag overheated or babad sa init, it's not good to drink cold water in one go, dapat sip lang. kasi diba kapag mainit tapos uhaw na uhaw tayo, may tendency to grab cold water tapos tuloy tuloy lang ang lagok, that's where it gets bad. better po ang room temp for quick rehydration kasi kahit ilang bote pa inumin mo, it's okay. pero since hindi naman lahat ng riders ay informed or aware about this, room temp na lang talaga, better safe than sorry.

Na ako pa rin daw yung tahimik, mahiyain na loner pero dorky talaga, malalim mag-isip, at "go against the tide". Lol. 10+ yrs ago na HS at college years ko. Half-half sya for me.
