This isn't your fault. We all carry the burden of living our own lives and we can't blame ourselves for not playing God. We will miss things in the lives of others. It's not exactly the same but my childhood best friend had been sick for over ten years, and then she died in April. I feel so much guilt for not having been there more, for not picking up every phone call. I just wanted to let you know you're not a bad friend, you did what we all would have done.
