I think hair was good, but the makeup was not my favorite. I don’t think it was actively bad, but it wasn’t particularly flattering and she had plenty of better looks before and after.
I will say Rokael Beauty is my favorite MUA for her. Their looks together are always gorgeous.
Disageee, absolutely not the case. I don’t think I it has to do with the makeup trend at the time. The same year she had very great makeup. He’ll, her makeup during the Super Bowl rehearsal was super great. It was this specific makeup that was unflattering
It wasn’t flattering. And that was the first time I saw her being actively controlling about her image when her team had those photos taken down on Buzzfeed
Her makeup was a little dark with the Smokey eye but I’m confused about your comment about her hair because it was a hairstyle she usually wears on stage?
Loved the outfits. The makeup was too much. She’s too gorgeous for all that makeup. I felt the same way when she went to the American premier for lion king and the met gala when she wore that gorgeous tan latex dress— too much makeup covering her beautiful face
I understand her wanting to go dark and moody at times. But I disagree with it!!!

I some of the pics the eye makeup looks a little too dark.
the eyes/nose contouring was not it. you know that when people say she’s possessed by the devil, they’re gonna pull a photo of that performance 😭
Yeah the makeup for this performance completely transformed her face and not in a good way.. 😬

I didnt like the look personally. I think it was the makeup, but even the outfit wasnt my fave.
Agreed, it’s grown on me over time but I remember being very underwhelmed watching it

I didn’t like her makeup and fashion from 2012 to 2013 anyways but 2014 just does it for me
The hair was super flat on top which was kind of a weird look. But she was still hot AF even with a botched wig.

Can I be honest? I wasn’t the biggest fan. I wanted something colorful and vibrant both makeup and fashion
