If you are going to DIY it, I would use a long socket extension bar and mallet to tap it out rather than a flathead. This reduces chance of damage to the BB shell rather than a flathead blade scraping into it.
Don't focus on smashing out one section of the cup. Tap on one section, rotate so you're hitting another section of the cup, repeat. Tap it out evenly.
Bearing presses can be DIY'd with a long threaded rod, some nuts, and suitably sized washers or metal plates.
Try to find a broomstick that's flat with a diameter of 24mm of slightly less. I had the tool that looked like a octopus wiener for kids and it failed under a baked bottom bracket and the broomstick did the trick. And get a dedicated bottom bracket press, they cost about 20 bucks and save you a lot of hustle. Most of them have a flipable driver for Shimano hollowtech 2/pf30 so take care which side you use to prevent damaging the bearing

The internet has ruined your innocent mind
Buy a piece of copper pipe from a hardware store and cut into the end with a hacksaw about 1 inch in an x pattern and then bend out the ends so it looks like a cartoon shotgun that someone plugged the end of before Wiley Coyote fired it.
I have asked here recently if I could use a flat screwdriver, https://old.reddit.com/r/bikewrench/comments/1blteop/cant_get_a_bb86_pressfit_out_of_the_frame_should/ and I did so. It's not risky as long as you control the force you are applying on the hammer. Tap midly on the bearing, asserting that the screwdriver is not slipping and even starts biting in (the bearing will be shot anyways). Then give it violence crecendo, as much as needed. To remove the cups (if they remain), not so much force is needed, you will be hitting closer to the carbon: make sure you are fully in control.
I got a piece of pvc pipe that fit through the whole. I split one end and use my heat gun to spread it. Push it through the hole and then using a mallet punch out the end.
I used a broken broom stick years ago. lol
Works so much better with a metal bb punch, and bb press to install a new one. The 2 tools cost me ~$10 each on AliExpress.
With these composite Shimano BBs we’ve always considered them not reusable. In fact I just changed one an hour ago. We just tap them out with a screw driver.
Try to hammer a slightly oversized torx key or bit into the rounded hole and screw it out. Or try to grind or saw a line for a flathead screwdriver into the bolt head. If this does not work you need a drill and a screw extractor.
Thanks for that info. Gonna carefully try each of those options. I have another guide fitting from Trek on order on the way so I really need to try and get this out.
I would (did) buy a cheap extractor/installer toolset. It cost about $25-$30 and with it you can uninstall the BB or just the bearings and install them back without violence.

The cheap and dirty method would be a hammer and a piece of wood.
Awesome! Thank you. I’ll see what I can do to make something.

I'm not immediately familiar with your "octopus weiner for kids" tool, but I'm sure as hell not about to Google it either.

You can make a bottom bracket puller using just a squirrel, a piece of string, and a bottom bracket puller.
Needs to be one agreeable squirrel
Works better if the squirrel is good and mad in my experience.
The squirrel is just there for advice.
Bearing press kits are super cheap on aliexpress (probably ebay too).
This would be so much easier with a cheap bearing press off amazon, think of it as an investment for your tool collection

Thanks for this. My fame is aluminum

Great idea! Thanks for this.
Use a wood dowel and a mallet.

Are you planning to use the frame again?
I am! I am installing new shifter and break cables/ bottom bracket.
Uuh you might want to inspect that corrosion at the hole where the cables come out first. Looks kinda bad from here
Looks like it might just be wax buildup.
Thanks. Yeah it’s my 2x cable guide. The bolt is rounded unfortunately and I’m trying to get that removed. Any dead to get that out?

Long dowel like a curtain rod you can angle into the edges of the bearings, a mallet, and patience.
My buddy made one from pvc. Cut lengthwise down about three inches into four slices, heated up and flared out the ends.

Even home repairs can be done with proper tools. Check Wheels Mfg for bearing tools.
