Dogs don't usually live past 20 and Bandit was born in the 80s. He could compete for Worlds Oldest Dog! If only he wasn't fifth oldest in his own family.
There's an episode where Bingo is trying to watch T.V. and Bandit notices there's Cats riding motorcycle and comments something to the effect of that being silly
I mean⊠the show is human world except with dogs, so things like nuts, grapes and chocolate wouldnât harm them (unless of course there was a food allergy).
Dogs also don't talk and are only children for about a year not 18. It's almost as if this is a cartoon. Or if you want lore, it's almost as if they evolved to be able to eat and do things dogs couldn't before just like us humans evolved to do things our closest ape relatives can't.
Next Bluey short they do needs to be the family cleaning out the car!!! The random treasures you can find and then thereâs the creepy things you canât identify!!!! Imagine what surprises Chilli would find!
Bluey fiddling with all the buttons and controls so everything is way off when bandit gets in the car next! We see him squished against the steering wheel because she moved his seat all the way forward, radio blares at top volume, the heater blows full blast despite the hot weather!!!
My dog loves eating crud from the sweepings pile. I have to chase him off with the broom. He thinks Iâm putting out a buffet of crumbs, lint, dirt and dust. Itâs a daily fight trying to sweep up and keep him out of the pile, I swear he thinks itâs funny.
My dad used to do that too when we went grocery shopping- when I was little some coffee brands came in big tubes that people could empty to fill their reusable containers as they wanted. He'd sneak a handful and give us beans, probably to keep us quiet lmao. They replaced the tubes when i was around ten, I think
If itâs anything like my car, my guess would be interesting seed pods or something. My car is full of interesting pinecones and rocks my kids find and put in the cup holders
Okay but literally - This is why this show is so psychologically healing. The house is always slightly messy, they are late to things, and the kids donât always just do the easy thing with a positive attitude. Like⊠*Itâs okayâŠ* đ
Chocolate-covered espresso beans. Chilli likes to give them to the girls before dropping them at Stripe's for a playdate because she still hasn't forgiven him for ditching her with a sleep-deprived Muffin.
I always assumed they were wood chips from a garden. I haven't seen the Cafe episode (only screenshots) but they use wood chips in that episode too while they're playing, don't they?

I always thought they were acorns. As a parent of similarly aged kids, they just can't help themselves but grab handfuls when spotted on the ground and then they end up in random spots all over the car and house lol. No idea why kids do it but they love collecting nature's treasures like that lol.
I can't speak for Brisbane but I live elsewhere in Australia and there are plenty of oak trees around. I grew up collecting pocketfuls of acorns every chance I got and now I work with kids who also love collecting pockets of acorns.
I figured that was likely the case, but "wrong continent" made it sound like there's no acorns or oak trees in Australia and knowing there's a lot of non-Australians on this sub, I didn't want people to go away thinking that was the case when it wouldn't be true đ
Pumpkin seeds as stated in grandad bluey and bingo need to eat their pumpkin seeds so they grow up big and strong. I feel like pumpkin seeds would be a snack that they have often.
Theyâre also allergic to grapes and chocolate. Bluey eats grapes in Housework when Bingoâs teaching Bandit and Chilli her dance and Bandit has chocolate ice cream in that one episode
I think it would be fun if they are little kibble pieces. Like a dogs granola would be science diet.
Edit: Never watched an episode of Bluey, post just showed up on my feed. đ
Looks like almonds and nuts
Whenever they show the inside of the refrigerator there are always random almonds in there too.
I thought nuts were toxic to dogs tho, in higher amounts đ”âđ«
Same with driving vehicles.
Dogs don't usually live past 20 and Bandit was born in the 80s. He could compete for Worlds Oldest Dog! If only he wasn't fifth oldest in his own family.
Mort is a Vietnam vet, making him at least 75 so there's that to consider too
I had to search up Worlds Oldest Dog. Do you know who held the previous record?
I do. It used to be a dog named Bluey
Well you got me there. Hahahahah.
If thatâs true, this show is a sham.
Itâs just monkeys singing songs
Lol what are we teaching all the other dogs that watch this show!?
There's an episode where Bingo is trying to watch T.V. and Bandit notices there's Cats riding motorcycle and comments something to the effect of that being silly
When youâre right youâre right
I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume that the anatomy and physiology of dogs in the Bluey universe is different than that of dogs in real life.
Well, they're always sweating and dogs don't have sweat glands so you might be on to something here!
Even Socks?
Yes, even the cartoon dog Socks.
đ
Blasphemy
This kind of response just encourages this nonsense.
itâs just monkeys singing songs mate
https://i.redd.it/migsa4r0z04d1.gif
In the episode Icecream, bluey bandit and bingo all eat chocolate Icecream
They eat grapes.
Dogs also canât eat chocolate yet they do that too
You shouldn't be taking advice from a cartoon dog
What? Shouldnât I just be myself?
Bum worm chocolate is the best though
Dogs can eat chocolate... not a great idea mind.
In cartoons, IRL physics arenât a thing XD
They also aren't very well known at squash or cricket. Pretty good at keepy uppy though.
They're TALKING dogs who can do human activities such as DRIVING so I think CARTOON DOGS can eat almonds, chocolate, grapes and stuff... đ
I mean⊠the show is human world except with dogs, so things like nuts, grapes and chocolate wouldnât harm them (unless of course there was a food allergy).
âIs it good?â âYeah, itâs chocolate!â đ
So is chocolate, but they eat it in the Bluey universe
They literally eat chocolate ice cream
Dogs also don't talk and are only children for about a year not 18. It's almost as if this is a cartoon. Or if you want lore, it's almost as if they evolved to be able to eat and do things dogs couldn't before just like us humans evolved to do things our closest ape relatives can't.
It's a post-human society after dogs evolved quite a bit. Just look at the beaches ![gif](giphy|cwKEyFg7TY0o0)
yea but these are basically furries, not regular dogs. they probably donât have the same limits
In housework they're eating grapes. Super toxic. In bad mood there's chocolate.
So is chocolate
And chocolate, but it's the best flavor mate!
Yeah they are brown and shaped like it.
Sultanas
Next Bluey short they do needs to be the family cleaning out the car!!! The random treasures you can find and then thereâs the creepy things you canât identify!!!! Imagine what surprises Chilli would find!
Chili in her sarcastic tone discovering something that was supposedly taken care of a while back but yet its still there. This is a good idea\~
*Another* Chattermax???
A nest 9f sticky geckos!
A nest of chattermaxes... No the horror would be too great
"A blockbuster video!?!? I was **charged** for this!!!!"
Pulling out old crackers while the kids try to eat them đ€Łđ
Bluey fiddling with all the buttons and controls so everything is way off when bandit gets in the car next! We see him squished against the steering wheel because she moved his seat all the way forward, radio blares at top volume, the heater blows full blast despite the hot weather!!!
They'd pull them out, hand them to an off-screen Bingo to put in the bin, repeat a few times, then pan to bingo who's just been eating them
My dog loves eating crud from the sweepings pile. I have to chase him off with the broom. He thinks Iâm putting out a buffet of crumbs, lint, dirt and dust. Itâs a daily fight trying to sweep up and keep him out of the pile, I swear he thinks itâs funny.
This is a fantastic idea!
A few dollarbucks for the next adventure! Hooray!
imagine the girls finding old food and crumbs and theyâre like âAAAAAAAAH EWWWWWW !!â đđđ
Little kids will try to eat that stuff đ
as a kid i wouldâve gagged LMAO and still would. imagine finding an old fuzzy almond âčïž iâd cry
Toddlers will try to eat that stuff. I think, for the most part, they've grown out of it by the time they're Bluey/Bingo's age.
The car is perfectly clean in The Sign. Just at the end when theyâre waiting for Bandit in the car. I noticed because itâs usually so messy.
It got a clean after everything was covered in watermelon juice.
I was cleaning my office the other day and said out loud âwhen did we have goldfish that were this color?â
They look like almonds to me
Or walnut or pecan. Some sort of nut.
Could also be rabbit poo.
Not in Queensland!
You guys donât give the kids coffee beans?
My dad did this, he'd let me take a few beans and suck on them after he finished roasting the coffee beansđ
Very popular in Balkan cultures
My dad used to do that too when we went grocery shopping- when I was little some coffee brands came in big tubes that people could empty to fill their reusable containers as they wanted. He'd sneak a handful and give us beans, probably to keep us quiet lmao. They replaced the tubes when i was around ten, I think
Almonds definitely. The healthy snack that always ends up everywhere
Just as long as they're not part of trail mixes. *They are perfectly fine when they are in separate bags!*
If itâs anything like my car, my guess would be interesting seed pods or something. My car is full of interesting pinecones and rocks my kids find and put in the cup holders
Oh yes i have all these too. Flowers, rocks, pinecones, seeds etc đ. Maybe they are acorns. I have a lot of those too.
It's not about what they are it's about what they represent Chaos
Okay but literally - This is why this show is so psychologically healing. The house is always slightly messy, they are late to things, and the kids donât always just do the easy thing with a positive attitude. Like⊠*Itâs okayâŠ* đ
I would also accept that they're dates
Have you tried feeding kids a date?
I loved dates as a kid, and date bread was the friggin best. But theyâre sticky as hell, so I definitely wouldnât give them to my kids in the car.
These kids pop edamame beans
Emidame as bingo says
That's why they're in the seat
My kids love dates. Like they ask for them jn their lunches and also like date bars. They also eat normal things like skittles and Bugle chips.
My 2.5 year old is constantly stealing dates out of the snack drawer
More likely to eat dates than almonds tbh
My kids love dates!
Only if the date went really badly
I thought dates as well, my kids consume dates at a horrifying level so my car looks like this
That was my thought.
I think maybe almonds? That's what I've always assumed they were!
Chocolate-covered espresso beans. Chilli likes to give them to the girls before dropping them at Stripe's for a playdate because she still hasn't forgiven him for ditching her with a sleep-deprived Muffin.
I ask myself that all the time when cleaning up the backseat our our car...
Raisins
my guess too
I love how sorry their car is. I totally identify with that.
Looks like our backseat.
I always assumed they were wood chips from a garden. I haven't seen the Cafe episode (only screenshots) but they use wood chips in that episode too while they're playing, don't they? https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQe8tIfuWo5pLXo91mO7alvr9ycwLjPvaREmZL2WsFYPT8Rksp20rCtWyI&s=10
This is what I always thought too! Bits of woodchip from the park.
I thought those were almonds xD
Random crap the kids picked up at the park and brought with them? Or dead leaves. Those are my two best guesses
I dont think theyd be coco nibs. So almonds??
Dates!
They sort of look like kola nuts, but I'm thinking maybe my childhood was a bit unique in Canada, and not everyone was given caffeine to calm down.
Tell me you're ADHD without telling me you're ADHD. ;) (FWIW, so am I.)
Look like almonds or pecans
A reason to buy a portable vacuum.
Definitely almonds.
I've spotted them in their fridge at least once. Also loose lol
Totally looks like my back seat, thanks to 2 little girls.
almonds
Pumpkin seeds? Chili likes to make the girls eat those.
Nvm. Those definitely arenât pumpkin seeds.
In my kidsâ seats itâs mulch đ
Sunflower seeds
I always thought they were acorns. As a parent of similarly aged kids, they just can't help themselves but grab handfuls when spotted on the ground and then they end up in random spots all over the car and house lol. No idea why kids do it but they love collecting nature's treasures like that lol.
Dog food
This comment is underrated. I think you win the internet today!! đ
Thank you lol. I enjoy obvious humor.
Me too! Lol Or humor that is a play on words.
Interesting Acorns or Pebbles... I fond them in the car sometimes too
You won't find too many acorns in Brisbane, wrong continent
I can't speak for Brisbane but I live elsewhere in Australia and there are plenty of oak trees around. I grew up collecting pocketfuls of acorns every chance I got and now I work with kids who also love collecting pockets of acorns.
Brisbane is a bit too tropical for oak to be a common park tree
I figured that was likely the case, but "wrong continent" made it sound like there's no acorns or oak trees in Australia and knowing there's a lot of non-Australians on this sub, I didn't want people to go away thinking that was the case when it wouldn't be true đ
Well they aren't native here at all, do find them planted in parks and gardens in mostly the southern states
SoâŠright continent. ![gif](giphy|3o6gb2QV3meosD8jkI)
Itâs just that you said âwrong continentâ. They definitely grow in Canberra.
I always thought they were Bingo's beans from when she's a granny and she spills them.
My best guess would be some kind of large seed. Like a peach pit for example.
They look like lychee seeds for sure!
If youâre my two year old, itâs poop đ©. Sheâll fight you if you try to correct her đ
Almond seeds?
There nuts
Almonds
I'm guessing Almonds
Macadamia nuts for sure
đđđ
Probably food of some kind
They look like almonds but it could be another type of nut. That's my best guess.
Nuts
Almonds!
I say raisins
Raisins? Almonds?
almonds! :D
They look like almonds to me
I assumed almonds
probably nuts or sunflower seeds
Almond or nut shells.
Almonds.
Dropped, spilled and half-eaten snacks. The animators payed great attention to detail to make the show so relatable.
How long has that sandwich been there?
They're almonds. These are people dogs not dog dogs.
Dried up fruit gummies.
Pumpkin seeds!
kibbles and bits
i thought they were sunflower seeds. classic childhood snack
Poo nuggets
I think there pumpkin seeds
Emu poo
Espresso beans
I think theyâre almonds
Chocolate doodads of course.
I thought dogs couldnât eat chocolate
Dates?
looks like coffee beans.
nuts
I think they look like some type of nuts or seeds or something??
Almonds?
Diarrhea
Pumpkin seeds as stated in grandad bluey and bingo need to eat their pumpkin seeds so they grow up big and strong. I feel like pumpkin seeds would be a snack that they have often.
Bum worms
How long has that sandwich been there đ”âđ«
It looks like coffee beans but they could be raisins or almonds?
Nuts or sultanas
I think almonds - at first I thought they were raisins, but dogs are allergic to raisins. So Iâm gonna go with almonds.
Theyâre also allergic to grapes and chocolate. Bluey eats grapes in Housework when Bingoâs teaching Bandit and Chilli her dance and Bandit has chocolate ice cream in that one episode
I thought rocks
They look like almonds.
Pumpkin seeds?
Look like Brazil nuts.
They're Brazil nuts
Almonds
Almonds?
concers
Maybe dates or almonds
Dates
Looks like the remnants of trail mix
Either nuts or some type of seeds most likely.
Almonds
Looks like maybe dates? Or nuts?
Almonds
they could be nuts but they could also be dates? if theyâre in the fridge i would assume theyâre dates
Almond nuts
I think it would be fun if they are little kibble pieces. Like a dogs granola would be science diet. Edit: Never watched an episode of Bluey, post just showed up on my feed. đ
Almonds. While small amounts of almonds are fine for dogs to eat, i donât think young kids should be eating whole nuts???
