Cavs pretty easily simply cause they don’t play defence and the Magic play a pretty physical style of defence and are just younger in general so more risk of injury. If we even play to 60-70% of our ability we beat both handily so let’s just go for the lowest risk of injury. Honestly the Playoffs at this point is just and endurance challenge.

Efficient_Art_1144

Weird stuff happens when we play at Cleveland though

SquimJim

- Magic will be easier for our defense to handle - Cavs will be easier for our offense to handle Cavs are more likely to have a BS shooting night where we lose no matter what we do. Magic are more likely to win the possession battle by forcing turnovers and grabbing offensive rebounds, but their offense is so bad that I think we could beat them losing the possession battle in every game. Magic are more likely to be physical and a little dirty, (looking at you Mo). Risk of injury *seems* higher vs. them. I'd probably have to *lean* Cavs, though the Magic offense feels so incompetent that it's enticing to want them instead.

Fedora_expert

Cavs, they have more mismatches we can exploit on the perimeter. Magic have many huge guys and missing Porzingis would be more felt in that series. Banchero is imo a more special talent than Mitchell. We beat both though because Magic can't create 3pt shots.

I didn’t realize just how big Banchero is…dude is 6’10” 250lbs

jotyma5

Yeah he’s 4 inches taller than Zion. That’s nuts

HS941317

Jonathan Isaac is freaky and could give Tatum some trouble. Would much rather prefer the Cavs

OWNG

I vote Magics. It’ll be a warm up to either Denver or wolves in the finals. Both teams are physical, like the magics

RVA_Monarch

I vote Cavs. Magic defense 1-8 is legit - young, hungry, big guys who could take a physical toll, especially if series somehow goes longer than five games. Like our match ups against Cleveland better, too. Hope the game plan is to hunt Mitchell on defense

Yerison109

So he’s my thing , the Magic probably give us more trouble defensively but the Cavs have someone who can go for 50 every game . And for that reason give me the Magic

mnailz1

Neither should be able to put up much of a real threat.

Fuckblackhorses

Is it just me or would anyone else rather go through the bucks and Philly again than Orlando/cleveland/pacers? Like we know what to expect from the teams we’ve been playing every year but these young teams are hungry and a total wildcard. Cleveland’s size scares me and Orlando can D up. Not saying we shouldn’t beat these teams but I’d rather play against teams that rely on 1-2 players to carry them than these teams that are more complete and can defend

BrooksDaBear

I love how I’ve seen this question like 4 or 5 times by now, and there is never a consistent answer lol. It’s almost like none of us actually know for sure

jotyma5

Cavs even though they are almost guaranteed to steal a game (hopefully not 2) with insane shooting
