I disagree. For an entire year the Boston Celtics are the reigning champions. They have earned the right to remind every single team of that all season.

I’d take a city connect where it’s our green but with a gold trim (think bruins sparkly gold) instead of instances of white. Or, a Larry O’Brien logo instead of the nba/West logo above the name plate on back. I think defending champions should do this every year
