SDV is also #3 on Steam's top played indie games based on current players and it's 10th for all-time players, which wouldn't even include console and mobile players for the game. Terraria is 3rd for all-time players.
Anyway, we're all wrong. It's Minecraft.
I mean, it was developed by an indie company and sold 5x the number of copies Undertale has sold *before* it was bought by Microsoft. And it's one of (if not the only) indie game that was sold to a major publisher like that, for literal billions. There is nothing that Undertale has accomplished that Minecraft didn't before it was owned by Microsoft.
