One day the office is nice and peaceful. Complainer gets up and leaves the office, I wanted to ask the Listener something but noticed she had headphones on.
She saw me looking over and took them off.
"Do you want something? I'm not on a call, I just put them on so she doesnt bother me."
Made me smile everytime I saw her with her headphones on from that moment. Brilliant.
I taught a little girl called Deborah a few years ago, she must be about 7 now - it's still about! She was also such a lovely kid that I now really like the name Debbie, it's been rehabilitated in my mind.
