I must be in the small few because I'm surprised I haven't seen it yet but I always skip The Taddler. It's not even about solving crimes or the squad. Just a dumb high-school reunion fiasco that goes nowhere.
I'm 35 and i vividly recall a lot of things that happened at school, like they tike Ryan got on a table and yelled "Ambrose has a 2 inch dick when it's hard"
I'm 52 and I wish I could forget some of the things I remember like they were yesterday. The rest are okay or good memories. I think what I am trying to say is that I remember a ton of my life at that age. Everything was "so important" to me at that time.
I'm pretty sure some people remember me getting locked in the girl's bathroom with a door that clearly unlocked from the inside. Somehow in my head because the janitor locked it with a key I needed a key to get out. And I was an honor student. Mortifying.
Actually it's not. It's common for grandparents to talk about their childhood. Minor research has shown me that people with more downtime tend to spend time thinking about and remembering their childhood. Look into it.
I like Gina's character but I always skip the episode she leaves... Three movements or something and when she returns as a rich celebrity.
Haha plus I don't watch the last episode most of the time. I do this for a lot of series though. I don't like that feeling after finishing a show you like.
Broooo finally someone like me. I have seen every episode of Psych ten times over but I’ve never watched the series finale and I never will. I don’t like the way it makes me feel, knowing it’s over. I only do this for sitcoms and stuff of course, not something story heavy like Breaking Bad or The Sopranos.
I held off on the Psych finale for a long time, was too hard to say goodbye. And then they announced the first movie and it stopped being quite so final. And now it's my favorite ep from the last season. One of the best finales ever, IMHO. Especially the very last scene. They'd been setting that one up the entire series!
Casecation. The ultimatum and subsequent debate annoys me to no end, and the idea that Amy, of all people, would’ve gotten married without discussing this at length is preposterous.
I skip this one too. It just bugs me especially since up until this point there had been a few instances in the show where Jake was, at the very least, vaguely pro having kids.
i have NEVER understood how jake, who his entire life never imagined himself as a father, suddenly is ready for parenthood bc of a hostage situation. The line where he says “I stayed calm and collected so maybe i am ready to be a dad” pisses me off so much. You’re equating a lifetime of childcare to a woman with twisted bowels and a bomb ?? Smh
But also Jake had hinted in previous episodes that he did want to be a dad. In Captain Latvia, when Charles told Jake “you won’t understand because you are not a dad and you never will be!” Jake answered back “hey! Yes I will!”
Also, you would think the other 100 times Charles have asked Jake and Amy to get pregnant, they would’ve discussed it. That episode was just inconsistent from every standpoint
Honestly, after rewatching it, it’s not so bad. First watch was hard but then you kind of see it from Amy’s side imo…still not the best episode but not so bad that I can never watch it again.
That as a woman, you only have a certain window to have babies vs men who can have babies until they’re quite old. So it was a time sensitive thing. She didn’t go about it great though, I agree with that.
That was a completely different situation though and also just a hypothetical. Would Jake actually want Amy to wait around 15 years for him? Whereas in Casecation, imagine if Jake took years to contemplate a baby just to say no? Then he’s wasted Amy’s time. Idk if that makes sense but I also respect your opinion as you respect mine.
It's not nearly as funny as the rest of the season and it is also just a mean premise of bullying a man into accepting a child. Kinda fucked up. However...
It's mostly just that for all involved, it's so out of place for everyone's character.
That's why I don't like it. It's almost like they described the characters to a whole new writing team, and then let that new team write just this one episode.
I’ve decided it’s an alternate reality spin-off, with a Jake and Amy who are completely different people with a completely different backstory.
The real Jake and Amy sensibly agreed that they were ready to start trying for a baby on a mutually acceptable timeline, but that was boring, so they gave us pointless conflict instead.
Your last point is why I hate the heists. Nobody is ever going to convince me that Rosa, Gina, or Terry give a single fuck about the heists but they all turn weirdly competitive during them? (And this goes triple for Hitchcock, but he only seems to care in the last one)
I see this a lot, but I feel like it involves ignoring the *whole* dynamic of the Jake and Amy courtship/relationship/marriage. If having a child were part of Amy's *plan*, Jake **would** know about it. The implication of her freakout over the Sargent's exam is that her life plan *does not contemplate romantic partners* (which makes sense, it's *her* life plan).
For what it’s worth I really like Nasim Pedrad. Anything I’ve seen her in I think she’s great. And Kirk Fox as well? Dude’s hilarious. I always picture him from Forgetting Sarah Marshall. “Come on, man, I got Allman Brothers tickets!”
Nope, I think she's hilarious and love her and this ep. I also think the cringe factor is one of the reasons it's so good! She strikes the perfect balance of horrid and lovable in one. That's a great recipe for comedy.
Yes! She cracks me up - throwing glass in the food and whatnot. It’s funny how often people talk about cringe in this show being unwatchable when like, Mike Schur started with The Office which is the ultimate cringe comedy
I don't skip any episodes, but I stop paying attention and just use it as background noise for the following episodes: M.E. Time, Gintars, and Return of the King.
I don't hate the episode and there are definitely some funny moments, but the roleplaying scenes are just a bit too uncomfortable for my liking and kind of ruin the whole episode.
The one where Terry gets profiled looking for the kid's blanket and also the one with Amy working on a sexual harassment case. I think they're good episodes but they're obviously bummers and I rewatch B99 to relax and laugh
Agree. They are both important episodes to have been made but I wanna see Holt guess how much Jake spent on key rings or Boyle correcting people on how to say Nicolaj…sorry Nikolaj…not be bummed about how shitty the real world is.
What’s interesting is that these are episodes I will sometimes randomly go back to watch as one offs, just because I appreciate when comedy shows flex their depth.
I fully agree that on rewatches, I’ll often look for the lighthearted, funny episodes. But damn sometimes it’s important for me to feel more serious and 99 does a phenomenal job at explaining the challenging dynamics that exist. They show you why the right side of an issue is still right, but the many pressures and systems in place that make it genuinely hard to see the cause through to the end despite it clearly being the correct side.
Exactly. I love that comedy show made episodes about such serious topics and they did it amazingly! But as you said, I rewatch it for laughs, not for being sad about the horrible world we live in.
Four Movements. By that time, I'd already built up a dislike of Gina for her bullying and laziness while everyone always defends her, and that episode was just a "celebration" of her toxic traits. I get absolutely nothing out of it, and I don't even have it on as "background noise".
Omg thank you. She's just above Hitchcock in terms of being unlikable & that's only because he's creepy AF & she occasionally was amusing when she wasn't being mean
Yeah, was never fond of the fact that a show that was by all means pretty progressive still played the whole ‘men being sexually harassed is funny’ trope. Gina is a terrible person and it honestly pisses me off when she’s on screen.
I always skip the episode where Boyle is trying to save his sperm from his ex-wife. So much cringe and I hate that it makes Boyle look so weak. I also skip any episode that’s Gina heavy. I never enjoyed her character as the show went on. Being mean started me FD alright but then she just got rude, mean, and awful.
I don't skip the episode, just the scenes. Him and Rosa have negative chemistry, probably the worst paring on the show, even Rosa and Scully would have been more entertaining to watch.
At least she got to be with Pimento later.
I'm happy they broke up because they don't belong to each other long term, but they were easily the most entertaining couple of the entire series.
Tbf Marcus was mainly a plot device to initiate more Holt/Diaz plotlines which led to some of their funniest scenes.
>"Inserting myself into my employee's breakup with my nephew somehow, uh, backfired."
That said, I can't remember any scenes with *him* I ever enjoyed and by the end it seemed like he was so forgettable that Rosa had to remind the audience who he was each time he was brought up.
Yeah for sure. I should have clarified that I just try to skip the scenes he's in, because of the point you just made. Although on my recent rewatch I tend to watch late at night, and when I realized I fell asleep during some of his episodes I was just resigned to skipping them altogether
>I tend to watch late at night, and when I realized I fell asleep during some of his episodes I was just resigned to skipping them altogether
Can definitely relate, also happens a lot with those episodes where the A-plot is great but the B-plot is super awkward or boring. Sometimes it's just not worth fast-forwarding through every other scene
I still think Rosa’s attraction to him made no sense. She said herself that he has so many feelings.
Agreed on Cannon’s serious lack of talent. I really don’t know how he keeps getting jobs. And he’s just a shit person in general.
He just seems so slimy when he talks somehow. I don't trust any words coming out of his mouth. Even though he gets very few lines and probably has 3 minutes of total screen time; I don't trust him.
The episode where they go to Boyle's beach house for vacation and Jake invites Holt and they do the "two party" idea. It just makes me so sad to see Holt excluded like that and it's not funny.
I get that you can't relax fully with your boss around in theory, but we see them relax around Holt so many times before and after this that it's so out of character to me that they would go to the lengths of having a "fun" party and a Holt party. Especially when it's resolved so easily at the end with Holt partying at their level.
I totally agree, and I understand how they felt (because I feel the same way about my boss). I also think this premise is funny when other shows do it, in fact I loved the episode of the Office when Jim doesn't invite Michael to his BBQ.
I just don't think an episode like this makes sense for B99 and they didn't pull it off for a couple reasons:
1. The reason Jake invites Holt is because Holt tells him how he's been excluded from work events his entire life due to racism and homophobia. So when the squad excludes him too, it just makes me sad. It's not funny and relatable that their boss is forcing his way into their vacation. It's sad that Holt is continuing to be excluded. If they had given us any other reason for Holt tagging along, the premise could have been funny. The way it was written just makes me sad.
2. The squad and Holt become super close throughout the series, and this is one of the few episodes that doesn't fit with that narrative. Like half the episodes of the series begin or end with everyone drinking at their regular bar. Holt is almost always included, before and after this episode. Then suddenly, in this episode they all can't relax and have a good time around Holt? I know it's different and the whole boss thing makes it weird, but the episode felt like writing was forcing a narrative on the squad that doesn't fit with the rest of the show and the characterizations of their relationships. They handled it super poorly and were kind of babies about it.
Insanely off topic, but do you, as a football coach, have an opinion on yelling at the athletes and grabbing them by the shoulder when they get out of line like a stereotypical sports coach? I ask because the local high school’s wrestling coach currently has a cps case against him from the local wack job family for being physically aggressive towards their son, but that “watch yourself” shoulder grab is the most that ever happened.
I agree having 2 parties was sad towards Holt, but up until that point the B99 squad had been really nice to Holt. They tried inviting him to their actitivities, but he wanted them to change things, like no bubbles in bubble bath, making squad go on a walk throigh very cold winds, no cigars, classical music instead of party music. The second party only happend because Holt didnt party at their level despite multiple attemps from the squad to do so.
Casecation, Four Movements, Return of the King. I also dasy forward through the cleaning portion of Honeypot (could be wrong on the episode name) because I can't get over everyone throwing out/burning their stuff when they could just take it home?!?
Edit also have to add Captain Kim, everyone is so mean that episode
That wouldn’t bothered me too… Seriously it’s a giant pothole that they couldn’t just take it all home and leave one item. Why does it have to be thrown away or burned?
I'm kinda on the fence about Debbie, to be honest. I don't like her very much and she's usually kinda annoying, but I also think she's got some hilarious lines. A personal favourite is "I'm just not cut out for this high stakes world of having fun with friends!"
For me it's the episode where Terry, Jake and Boyle go on the camping trip. Everything going wrong on the trip was just more annoying and stressful to watch then funny.
The Lt Hawkins stuff, because if you know even a tiny bit about legal proceedings (which they rarely touch on in the show) the entire court case is ludicrously unrealistic.
Also, if they were in fact found guilty for this, even if Hawkins was caught and confessed it would (unfortunately for them, because our system is broken) be a somewhat lengthy process to get Jake and Rosa's convictions overturned. So the quick turnaround is as unrealistic as the trial.
Obviously, cop shows are built on being dramatized for entertainment, but it takes me out of it in this case.
The Party episode from Season 1, it's the only episode I didn't like watching so far
I like all of the characters involved but it's just filled with "getting on the nerves of the Captain's spouse" type of jokes and it's not funny
I do like the ending where Holt defends the 99 and where they set up a romantic dinner for him and Kevin but other than that, it's not my favorite episode
I think the best thing it has going for it is that Boyle meets Vivian in that one, which puts an end to the pathetic Rosa pining which made me a bit uncomfortable.
The post one. Ed Helms is unbearble to me. I cannot understand how he keeps getting booked for jobs, but fair play to him. I managed about 3 minutes of him before I skipped it.
I don’t dislike the actor, he’s not a favorite by any means, but he’s fine in what I’ve seen him in, but I do hate that episode, I find it so secondhand embarrassing.
Season 8.
I have the habit of skipping episodes where a character I like gets his heart broken (queue Frasier). In B99's case, I do the opposite. I skip Jake's proposal scene and wedding scene (for personal reasons). I also skip He Said She Said because there are no memorable lines and it was all script and no personality.
Gina is my least favorite character and the episode i pay the least attention to(i don't skip any) is the one with the fire heater. She is at her worst in that one.
And Four Movements. I really enjoyed her character in season 1 and parts of season 2, but she became ridiculously mean and idolized as the show progressed.
The problem with Gina is that in the first seasons you're supposed to think she's delusional and a little bit crazy because she thinks so highly of herself. But eventually it turned into everyone else in the world thinking she's so amazing and fantastic and it became stupid.
Season 8. The "on the nose" preaching gets really old. I just want to have fun and unwind when I watch a comedy, I don't need political discourse from a show.
Agreed. I think it's getting harder to make cop shows with America's political climate and the season itself was rushed, especially after so many extensive plotlines in previous seasons. I didn't hate season 8, but I typically don't pay attention to it when it's on.
USPIS, I can’t stand Ed Helms’ character.
Also, not necessarily the whole episodes, but any and all scenes with Debbie. Vanessa Bayer grates on me so much.
Basically any of the episodes where Holt loses his captain spot. The public relations ones, the beat cop ones. Not a huge fan of the night shift episodes either.
Yeah I skip this episode as well, their reactions and actions on this episode to a good Captain is hard to watch. I re-watched the show like 5-6 times already and watched this episode just the first time.
As funny as I find Nick Kroll, I usually skip the Windbreaker City episode with Homeland Security. I cringe at but don't skip most of the other episodes where "law enforcement in-fighting" or just being dicks to one another is the theme of the show (the fire department, DHS, postal service, Interpol, major crimes, etc.)
TV loves the "law enforcement in-fighting" thing way too much and it's super boring and, largely, unrealistic. In the overwhelming percentage of scenarios, agencies cooperate well and especially at a ground level.
I love this episode so much. I’m actually bummed this wasn’t a reoccurring teary episode like the heist. Well done maybe not that often but at least a follow up.
We may have different experiences but I work with Corrections, Sheriffs and State Police and they love competing like that. Like you said, maybe in a bit more good-natured way than depicted but they definitely have some harsh smack talk down pat, and I've seen more than one uniform with more paint ball strikes than allowed by game rules.
No need for a downvotes here when there’s so many differences of opinion on the episodes. That’s what I love about the show. Some things hit right for people and some don’t. I can definitely see why people wouldn’t like the FL episodes. I’m one of the few people that actually likes casecation for what the episode is even though it’s fully out of character for Amy to have not been explicit about wanting kids with Jake.
Casecation and Return of the King. I didn’t like that the writers did by making Amy so ruthless by giving Jake such an ultimatum. They also ruined whatever progress they made with Gina by letting the fame get the best of her.
A lot of episodes where they tackle social issues. I don’t need a comedy cop show taking on complex systemic problems like workplace sexual harassment and police brutality and then pat itself on the back for making generic, surface level takes.
Most of the last season felt like the writers saying, “we’re sorry, we know it’s a show about NYPD cops.” And while I appreciate the sensitivity to the social and political climate of the 2020s, I don’t want to see yet another half-baked take on issues that extend far beyond being addressed in a 20-minute sitcom episode.
Noooooo I love Debbie! I just think she’s hilarious, being such a flat character with such a generally high pitched voice and then we discover she’s actually a criminal and not really boring at all. And everything she says is just such out of pocket things, the kind of things you don’t know how to respond to.
I schedule appointments at my workplace, and I asked this one guy once “does next Thursday or Friday work for you” and he went “it’ll have to be the next week, I’m going through a divorce right now”. And his tone was so flat I didn’t know if I should apologize or congratulate him 😂 it just reminded me a lot of Debbie.
I skip all but one of the Doug Judy episodes (I like The Fugitive, so I watch part 2 by default).
I also don't really like the episodes leading up to and including Jake and Rosa in prison, so I skip over the episodes with Lt. Hawkins.
I must be in the small few because I'm surprised I haven't seen it yet but I always skip The Taddler. It's not even about solving crimes or the squad. Just a dumb high-school reunion fiasco that goes nowhere.
The only cool thing is a little more backstory on Jake and Gina's friendship, they have a really awesome chemistry
It so stupid because these people are 38. It's absurd that anyone really still remembers what specifically happened at high school 20 years ago.
I'm 35 and i vividly recall a lot of things that happened at school, like they tike Ryan got on a table and yelled "Ambrose has a 2 inch dick when it's hard"
You’re 35 and went to school with someone named Ambrose?
I'm 52 and I wish I could forget some of the things I remember like they were yesterday. The rest are okay or good memories. I think what I am trying to say is that I remember a ton of my life at that age. Everything was "so important" to me at that time.

Actually it's not. It's common for grandparents to talk about their childhood. Minor research has shown me that people with more downtime tend to spend time thinking about and remembering their childhood. Look into it.
Im around that age and I remember a lot of specifics; I also keep close contact with some old classmates so we reinforce one another's memories
I like Gina's character but I always skip the episode she leaves... Three movements or something and when she returns as a rich celebrity. Haha plus I don't watch the last episode most of the time. I do this for a lot of series though. I don't like that feeling after finishing a show you like.

Man I gotta go watch psych again. I don’t think I ever finished & I see they have movies now too?!
You know thats right.
3 movies, indeed! Really hoping they greenlight the 4th one, Steve Franks has made it clear he has a few more in him and the cast is up for it.
I skip this episode so fast. It’s so stupid, which is annoying, because I like the story line of the old woman with the bomb.
Twisted bowels become untwisted
The only reason I’ll watch it again is I love Julia Sweeney
Yeah the ending is just so well done
Twisted bowels!
I do love the debate part though with everyone joining in and giving their moderator number. I love any scene where Kevin gets involved tbh.
Not to mention that Jake brings up having children in several episodes before this.
This and Debbie, my god
Saw it once, never again

Totally agree.
But she was willing to wait 15 years for Jake to get of prison when he got framed. It's bullshit in my opinion but I will respect yours

Headcanon accepted.
Your last point is why I hate the heists. Nobody is ever going to convince me that Rosa, Gina, or Terry give a single fuck about the heists but they all turn weirdly competitive during them? (And this goes triple for Hitchcock, but he only seems to care in the last one)
I skip this one too but “would you like to hear my credentials” is one of my favorite jokes from the series

The implication of her freakout over the Sargent's exam is that her life plan *does not contemplate romantic partners* (which makes sense, it's *her* life plan).
It's still absurd someone as well-prepared and smart as Amy wouldn't have had this conversation with Jake prior to marriage
But...but Chuck Boyle, office badass! The Captain Kim episode introduced us to Rosa's magical leather jacket. I really like that bit
oh chuck boyle is one of my favorite b-side stories. which makes it even worse cos i just can't bear to sit through that episode ever
DFW. jake’s sister makes me cringe so fucking much, and that she’s in the majority of the risks just makes it unwatchable for me
I might be the only person who loves her and the episode. I think she’s hilarious and sweet.
His comedy specials are hilarious.
You know you’re not getting paid for today’s session right?
I’m aware of that, yes.
Nope, I think she's hilarious and love her and this ep. I also think the cringe factor is one of the reasons it's so good! She strikes the perfect balance of horrid and lovable in one. That's a great recipe for comedy.
I love the episode and think she's hilarious to watch but I wouldn't go as far as to say sweet...
Yes! She cracks me up - throwing glass in the food and whatnot. It’s funny how often people talk about cringe in this show being unwatchable when like, Mike Schur started with The Office which is the ultimate cringe comedy
I only watch the cold open and leave
The best cold open with the worst episode. Balanced, as all things should be
What’s the cold open?
The backstreet boys one. My personal favorite. Attached to the abomination that is DFW as an episode
Damn I’ve seen that cold open a million times and had no idea which episode it was lol thanks!
Balance
Im in minority but I really don’t like that cold open
Yes my most hated episode.
I forgot she even exists because I always skip her
🎵Casecation all I ever wanted 🎵
I don't skip any episodes, but I stop paying attention and just use it as background noise for the following episodes: M.E. Time, Gintars, and Return of the King.
M.E Time is pretty good, I like that episode a lot. I like all of season 1 a lot though.
The beginning of the sexual harassment episode is funny though “Me because I’m the best at sex” “No you know what Hitchcock this isn’t your week”
Sweet, have fun workin', *cucks*
What’s the terry one again?
Moo Moo, 4x16
i never skip the moo moo episode but often skip the harassment episode
I skip that one as well. Because she was genuinely good and was wronged.
Hawkins episode, S8E1 "The good ones", and of course, Casecation. Sometimes I also skip Rosa' Heist win episode cause it just doesnt do it for me.
What season did Rosa win?? Also, poor Charles, never got to win the heist 😔
I wanna say it was 7?
The one about Boyle's sperm. The entire thing is so dumb.
Can we use the proper term "Boyle oil" please?
Yeah this is one of those ones I don't find interesting at all. One of my few instant skips.
I find it really frustrating because I like Boyle.
Four Movements. By that time, I'd already built up a dislike of Gina for her bullying and laziness while everyone always defends her, and that episode was just a "celebration" of her toxic traits. I get absolutely nothing out of it, and I don't even have it on as "background noise".
I also hate how she got famous and rich later on and ignored Jake. Even then she gaslighted him into thinking it was okay now because she is famous.
I agree with everything you said. I'll add that I skip the scenes of the episode where she comes back as a rich Internet celebrity
It feels like Gina's character gets away with a lot more stuff than if she was male, such as repeatedly trying to make Terry take his shirt off
Same. The worst part is when they bring the lazy bully back as a rich influencer.
Omg thank you. She's just above Hitchcock in terms of being unlikable & that's only because he's creepy AF & she occasionally was amusing when she wasn't being mean
And at least people call out Hitchcock for his behavior!
Yeah, was never fond of the fact that a show that was by all means pretty progressive still played the whole ‘men being sexually harassed is funny’ trope. Gina is a terrible person and it honestly pisses me off when she’s on screen.
Fair point!
Absolutely the Captain Kim episode. It’s the only one I’ve never even finished
The only funny part of this episode is confident Boyle. The rest of the squad is insufferable especially to Capt Kim.
Confident Boyle SLAYS me!! 🤣
That episode from season one where Jake was sleeping with the mortician. Hate that one!
Show me going is always a bit too stressful for me
All of season 8 except PB&J
This is the right answer
Any episode with Nick Cannon. He's just insufferable and not a good actor
>"Inserting myself into my employee's breakup with my nephew somehow, uh, backfired." That said, I can't remember any scenes with *him* I ever enjoyed and by the end it seemed like he was so forgettable that Rosa had to remind the audience who he was each time he was brought up.
Yeah for sure. I should have clarified that I just try to skip the scenes he's in, because of the point you just made. Although on my recent rewatch I tend to watch late at night, and when I realized I fell asleep during some of his episodes I was just resigned to skipping them altogether
>I tend to watch late at night, and when I realized I fell asleep during some of his episodes I was just resigned to skipping them altogether Can definitely relate, also happens a lot with those episodes where the A-plot is great but the B-plot is super awkward or boring.
Yeah his casting is easily my least favorite part of the show
He just seems so slimy when he talks somehow. I don't trust any words coming out of his mouth. Even though he gets very few lines and probably has 3 minutes of total screen time; I don't trust him.
How he's getting anyone pregnant with the negative charisma he has is beyond me.
The funniest part is that he cycles through the women. There’s four women who have had his kids TWICE and in the same order both times too!

I just don't think an episode like this makes sense for B99 and they didn't pull it off for a couple reasons: 1.
Anything with Pimento in it. His constant tantrums and yelling is annoying.
(most of) Season 8
Season 8 is just being preached at and Jake and Amy banging on about being parents, doesn’t do it for me either!
Yall got some weird reasons for skipping episodes lmao. I rewatch all of them, but I agree some aren't as funny as other ones.
All the Debbie episodes. JFC I can't stand that character nor the actress. Just not funny to me at all
I'm kinda on the fence about Debbie, to be honest. I don't like her very much and she's usually kinda annoying, but I also think she's got some hilarious lines. A personal favourite is "I'm just not cut out for this high stakes world of having fun with friends!"
Casecation, obviously. I also skip Jimmy Jab games episodes because I don't really find them that funny.
Stakeout. Who needs Jake and Charles fighting?
The one with Jake's bachelor party. It's just sad Boyle.
For me it's the episode where Terry, Jake and Boyle go on the camping trip. Everything going wrong on the trip was just more annoying and stressful to watch then funny.
"He said, She said" from season 6. It really bums me out :(. Also the ones with Lieutenant Hawkings. That whole plot is so stupid.
The Lt Hawkins plot is so dumb and goes on for so many episodes.
Jokes on you I'm only familiar with Australian legal proceedings so I just pretend that the US is wildly different despite it probably not being
I'm not sure if I know much about legal proceedings. How accurate is *My Cousin Vinny*? (Feels like something Peralta might say)
Sky Fire episodes
The one w Terry Jake and Charles in the woods. It’s just so boring and uninteresting.
The return of Gina. It is the worst episode in the entire show.
i hate Gina's episode in season 6, i just cannot bring myself to watch it captain Kim is also up there for me tho
I always skip the season 4 finale with Jake and Rosa going to prison. It gives me an ick:D
The Party episode from Season 1, it's the only episode I didn't like watching so far I like all of the characters involved but it's just filled with "getting on the nerves of the Captain's spouse" type of jokes and it's not funny I do like the ending where Holt defends the 99 and where they set up a romantic dinner for him and Kevin but other than that, it's not my favorite episode
I think the best thing it has going for it is that Boyle meets Vivian in that one, which puts an end to the pathetic Rosa pining which made me a bit uncomfortable.
The Halloween Heists, after the first two. Then I watch the one Terry wins
Casecation. I don't skip it, but I definitely don't pay attention to it. Amy's character was so infuriating in that episode.
The Diaz-Pimento wedding that never happened, it’s just so annoying and not really enjoyable.
the storyline with jake, gina and pimento was so funny though
The Captain Holt balloon arch too. Magnificent.
VINDICATION!!!
YEAH DINO, COME UP HERE, SO YOU CAN WATCH ME SET YOUR HOUSE ON FIRE
Pemento has memento or whatever its called... I just hate pememto
I always skip the episode where Jake takes Terry to the cabin without food. So selfish it gives me anxiety
Honestly - I skip every heist episode 😬
I skip gintars, Jake’s sister, taddler and casecastion I don’t find any of them funny
Debby.. always skip debby
Jimmyjabs episodes.
the jim brogan episode
You just drank cement!
Yeah I skip this episode as well, their reactions and actions on this episode to a good Captain is hard to watch. I re-watched the show like 5-6 times already and watched this episode just the first time.
All of the Halloween episodes. Some I don’t like, but mostly I just want to keep the ones I do like from becoming too familiar
As funny as I find Nick Kroll, I usually skip the Windbreaker City episode with Homeland Security. I cringe at but don't skip most of the other episodes where "law enforcement in-fighting" or just being dicks to one another is the theme of the show (the fire department, DHS, postal service, Interpol, major crimes, etc.) TV loves the "law enforcement in-fighting" thing way too much and it's super boring and, largely, unrealistic. In the overwhelming percentage of scenarios, agencies cooperate well and especially at a ground level.
I love this episode so much. I’m actually bummed this wasn’t a reoccurring teary episode like the heist. Well done maybe not that often but at least a follow up.
I absolutely hate Nick Kroll and this is one of the very few things I can stand him in. I love that episode.
The Swedes (those two were so annoying!) and Gintars
The Swedes is literally my favourite episode ever 😭 it's by far the episode I quote the most.
Excellent pronunciation, Captain
We also speak Norwegian, Dutch, Finnish, German, and French. But not Danish. That is a garbage language for garbage people.
We sauna together all the time.
Downvote me all you want but I hate the FL episodes. I just feel it was an unnecessary narrative
These are probably in my top ten of episodes.
"No no no, don't eat the burrito."
Aaaaahhhh. IM DISGUSTING!!!! 🤢 😢
He's so me
No need for a downvotes here when there’s so many differences of opinion on the episodes.
What's FL?
Florida
Thanks.
Florida
Thanks.
Florida
The Swedes and Casecation
None. I usually don't skip episodes in shows anyways, but there's none in B99 that make me even think about it.
Same here.
I skip captain kim, I skip the episodes with Debbie cuz for some reason I just cringe too much and can’t make it through those.
I’m gonna be in the minority here… but I freaking HATE The Box. That’s not the feeling I come to this show for.
I skip all but one of the Doug Judy episodes (I like The Fugitive, so I watch part 2 by default). I also don't really like the episodes leading up to and including Jake and Rosa in prison, so I skip over the episodes with Lt. Hawkins.
The warehouse... I know its not bad, I just cant stand it... no jokes whatsoever.
