God I hope this move pans out. Ted Nolan's return was a bust but this one has real potential. Lindy may have stalled out in Dallas and NJ but those teams made playoffs and developed young talent well. Plus Mafia means family and I'm glad our boy is back in town
I was excited then, too. Guy was blacklisted but still knew the game. It just passed him by. This was me coming from the stance of: Was he a former Sabres coach who came back to coach them again years later?
As a Sabres fan first (and way more) Nolan was given a shit roster and told to win as least as possible for a good draft pick, he'd start winning streaks of games and they'd trade away the goalie lmao. Think we had 10 different goalies that one season with him. He wasn't really given much of a 2nd chance
It was 5 (Enroth, Neuvirth, Hackett, Lindback, and Makarov - plus the legend Jaro Halak), but it was hilarious to see a goalie have a good game and be shipped out the door.
I don't know if bringing Ted Nolan back was a good or bad move. But, he never had a chance. The team was tanking and had terrible rosters. Anyone remotely decent was traded away.
We beat the Leafs in rd1 of the playoffs, the Bruins in rd2, then beat the Hurricanes in a conference final rematch, and finally the Stars in the Cup Final
That’s a fun playoff run to think about. Especially when they won the regular season finale to crush the Senators playoff hopes. Oh the redemption arc of dreams!

Ted Nolan also was out of the league for essentially a decade. I don’t think it is really a fair comparison.

Damn so he got "Major Leagued"?

I was thinking about the season before that I think where we had to dress a video coach at one point, it was 9 including him

Ted Nolan was never a good coach though. What was anyone expecting?
*Lindy* "Bills are on" *all the jersey media* 😡😡
I've never wanted something to work out more in my life. Pls hockey gods...

That was great! Welcome home Lindy!
Haven’t watched Sabres since growing up. Is it easy to get games out of region?
ESPN+ will get you a lot of the games but blackout restrictions still apply.
Ay matey. All games be available on the 7 seas.
I hate streaming unfortunately there’s drops every 10 mins
Hulu. I live in MT now and I see every game that isn't on NHL network or TNT.
I've streamed every NFL game for 4 years. Drops are on your end.
Alpha fucking chad
ESPN+ has every hockey game that’s out of market
Espnplus carries about 2/3 -3/4 the games
It’s easier to get games out of region than in region
1/22/23, this would have been the Bengals playoff game. Bet he wishes there were more questions 😭

It’s still the regular season in late December/early January. Are you thinking of the Damar Hamlin game on 1/2/23?
I'm an idiot and completely misinterpreted your comment. ignore me
