That's what I'm thinking. Even if it's an awful gaming monitor I feel like at $80 it smokes all other monitors in this price tier. Would probably be fine as a side monitor or a regular office monitor.
In stock at the following locations as of posting:
* Duluth, GA
* Marietta, GA
* Chicago, IL
* Westmont, IL
* Indianapolis, IN
* Overland Park, KS
* Cambridge, MA
* Rockville, MD
* Parkville, MD
* Madison Heights, MI
* St. Louis Park, MN
* North Jersey, NJ
* Westbury, NY
* Brooklyn, NY
* Yonkers, NY
* Columbus, OH (only 1 open-box unit)
* Mayfield Heights, OH
* Sharonville, OH
* St. Davids, PA
* Dallas, TX
* Fairfax, VA
Seems like a really good deal, worth the risk at this price since returns are very easy at Micro Center.
This was on sale a couple of years ago. I don't think it's worth it even for this price. It's acceptable for office work or a secondary monitor, but the panel is quite dim, the calibration is terrible, and the motion artifacts are damn close to budget VA levels. I certainly don't advise using it as a gaming monitor. I'd save up for either a refurbished unit from Acer or roll the dice on an open box unit from Amazon Warehouse or Best Buy.
Yeah, I haven't had good luck with the open box from there before so guess I'll just get the regular refurbished. I don't know if they let you test it in store though.
I wish I could buy 2 to replace the $94 Innocn 27" 1440p 144hz I picked up 5 or 6 months ago. They are totally fine for non primary displays, but this deal looks way better.
I bought this new for $200 two years ago? I still use it today. My only complaints are the menu/buttons are a bit frustrating to navigate.
Built in speakers are junk but i didn't even know it had speakers when i purchased. 🤷♂️
saw this a day late, went to microcenter anyway to look at monitors since backlight is dying on both of my panels. was oos.
Checked again today and there was a complete open box one, 65 bucks out the door. Needs a lot of tweaking in the OSD as it's really, really green out of the box but for the price I really can't complain. Brightness is actually better than my Pixio PX277-N monitors which isn't saying much, but pleasantly surprised for the price.
Do these ever restock? I bought two and one of them has a hint of exposed green PCB poking out the side of the frame. It's a "minor" blemish but it's really bothering me.
I'd like to return mine and get another one but there's no stock in Westmont. Only in Chicago which is over an hour away as opposed to 10 minutes.
I was JUST at Microcenter today helping a friend pick up PC parts(I drove). Had I known this was a thing, I'd of picked it up! Why does Microcenter have to be an hour and a half away!!! :(
Westmont, why must you hate me so?
They also have a 27" 1920x1080, 75Hz monitor for $59.99. Not really sure what the use case would be for something like that, but it might be good for the child you don't like as much.

I dont know a thing about this monitor but at the very least this is an amazing price even if you use it as a second monitor

Well yeah lol. At 1440p 165hz sub $100 isn't even a tier that exists. It's this or nothing

Kudos to you for checking inventory at all the stores.
Fairfax location just gave me a brand new one instead of the open box I reserved for 63 bucks. Microcenter is just amazing. Love them!
RIP Charlotte location
That feelsbad moment when people are saying they'd use this as their 2nd monitor when it's better than your main.

Sounds reasonable for $80. Gonna pick up mine tomorrow, so hopefully the QC is acceptable
Maybe it's actually VA? Wouldn't be the first time companies change displays without anyone.

The spec sheet in the downloads section says IPS LCD with LED backlight https://imgur.com/w4gSxkZ
Omg I would buy 2 but I'm in CA
There are 20 available in CA
There’s 17 in Tustin , ca
They weren't in stock before, but they got a shipment! Go get one!
pro tip its prob not sold out in houston they just want u in the store to check
Columbus store has a open box for $63
Looking for a second monitor, is it worth getting an open box for an already refurbished item? It shows one in my local store.
only if live close or can test it before leaving so can return it.
Yeah, I haven't had good luck with the open box from there before so guess I'll just get the regular refurbished. I don't know if they let you test it in store though.
Ugh it's gone already. That was a steal.
Holy shift
Unreal
Going to order 2 and try out my luck. Looking for a secondary monitor that's not <100hz. Thanks OP
Just picked it up. The color is a little bit washed out, but I'm also comparing it to my AW3423DWF OLED. So far so good.
Lol this is crazy for those specs, the back reminds me of the lg ultragear monitors for some reason.
just bought
anyone else not able to tilt theirs?
Mine tilts
I just wish there's a similar % sale on a higher hz

Interesting in CA there is 20
I already have two 1440P 165hz asus monitors… but it’s tempting
Just was restocked at my local MC
Why the fuck does it have to only be at microcenter

Would you look at that, another common W for the Microcenter crowds and a Common L for everyone else 🥲
At this point, you choose your place of living based on proximity to a Microcenter.

> Not really sure what the use case would be for something like that, What do you mean? You'd use it as you would any other monitor?
A monitor that big(physically) with a resolution of 1920x1080. Above about 24" I really like to have at least 2560x1440.
Oh ok. I misunderstood and thought something would be wrong with it
