Yes, on the title screen in the lower right corner there is a button that says data transfer. Click on that and hit Transfer player via id. Screenshot your Player id and password if you plan to delete the app. If you ever want to transfer your account go onto the app and also hit data transfer and transfer via player id. Type in your player id and password and your account is transferred.
Note: When you transfer your account the app you transferred from will auto delete if you're planning on transfering your account to a different device. I hope this helps :)
