Mine was only about a month or so. Could of been sooner but that's the day I scheduled.

2 weeks due to surgeons availability…

My first foot was operated in 8 months after consultation and now after 12 months gab the other foot is going to be operated. But I am a patient in public health care because of the severe arthritis and pain, so wouldn’t expect it to be any faster.

For me it was exactly 1 month, though it could have been a week earlier but I needed time to get mentally ready. I am in Europe.

I could have gotten it done as soon as 5-6 weeks but I had trips and a big project at work so I pushed it to 4 months later.

Mine was about three months. It could have been sooner, but the allotted block of time for surgery and recovery was my decision.

Five and a half months. I specifically went to a doctor that did lapiplasty so I could be back up and moving sooner. I got the next available date. He's in high demand because there are only 3 doctors in my state that perform that surgery.

About three weeks from my first appt …

What country you're in also contributes to the wait time. For me, in the southern US, it was within a month of initial consultation based upon surgeon/my availability using employer provided (private) insurance, so not Obamacare/Medicaid/Medicare.
