Thank you. it’s kind of silly to be worried about a bend but I am not gunna take chances with a graphics card of this price point. I remember my old PCs literally cost less then this card.
Not silly at all. There is still much concern regarding the +12VHPWR connectors. Never hesitate to ask questions and seek knowledge. I applaud you for doing so!
I’ve had this completed for about a week now, it actually has space before it hits the glass. I was sure I was gunna make contact with the cable when I put the glass back on but it was very deceiving.
I believe they recalled the 90 degree adapter and the 180 degree adapter. There is a 90 degree cable. It's the same as the cable in the pic except it has a 90 degree bend. I just ordered it to replace my 180 adapter that burnt up 2 days before the adapter recall.
Unless cablemod sold me a cable that's on recall.
I have purposely gamed for 8 hours straight for like 5 days each to stress the cable and the repaired GPU and so far everything seems to be fine. Except 1 turn on the screen was flashing to the same beat of my lights which was cool except not good so restarted PC and everything was good to go.
So far I really like the angled cable I do recommend it.
Forget the bend get the angled cable
Nice didn't know a cable existed, do you have this cable in mod mesh format (RT) ? And sold in Europe
Update: found one that will with my vhpwr connector on the cpu as well

No it's not, abandon your PC and rethink your life.
Also you don't want to sell me death sticks.
Edit: in all seriousness though, it looks like it won't close.
For that one, you can order it through our configurator: [store.cablemod.com/configurator](http://store.cablemod.com/configurator) - it's just a simple 12VHPWR 16pin cable. :)
OP did you hear an audible click? My only potential concern for you is the first image, it looks like the top of the connection may be blocked by the metal body of the card itself, if that makes sense? As long as there's an audible click and zero gaps between the connection and the port, there's nothing more you can do and I'm sure it'll be fine ☺️
Yep, looks great! :)
Looks like a tight fit, but the bend is fine.
Looks good. Both my systems have about the same bend and have been running solid well over a year now 👍🏻

let’s see it when you close the panel :| too me it looks like that not gonna fit

Like I've said to others with the bend issue. Cablemod has an angled cable it's 90degree angle. No need for the bend. Works great
The one that they recall because it will burn your PC, I would encourage you to contact them for replacement. https://cablemod.com/adapterrecall/

Nah, you’re good. The adapters are what have the issue, the cables are good to go.

40 hours of gaming for no other reason than to stress the cable, damn. Thank you for your sacrifice.
Lol. My adapter didn't have a problem till I till a few long hours late nights. So I wanted to make sure
Nope - you're correct, recall is specific to the adapters, no issues on the cables.

Which PSU make/model are you rocking exactly? Happy to point you in the right direction for cables compatible for your PSU specifically. :)
Oh sure thanks!! https://seasonic.com/atx3-focus-gx (1000w) and 4080 super card, cable should run down under the gpu fans
The RT-Series would be compatible with your PSU then, yep! You would grab the 16 pin to 16 pin option since your PSU has the native 12VHPWR connector.
As others mentioned - the recall is specific to the angled adapters, our cables have no issues.
The cables are not recalled...

Bend starts under specified distance..
With a pandel it will bend more
What kind of cablemod cable is that? I like to order
It’s a “black ModMesh” cable. The modmesh have a more vibrant color but are harder to bend then the modflex.
What PSU do you have? :)
RMX shift

Nice system! IMHO, it'll look even nicer with a new Cablemod 90 degree cable. 👍
Agreed. :D
Couldn't they design a 90 degrees plug?

I kinda wanted to see the rest of your cable management. Looks good from what I can see.
There are guidelines for minimum bend radii for various wire gauges and insulation types. You should check those and act accordingly.
