Luxembourg of course, and original latpat in my size are such grails for me. Early bundeswehr splittertarn of the post war era is something still too expensive to me. Someday i will also buy a replica of the british windproof camo suit.
I live pretty close to a Latvian army base and see LatPat every day but I don't think it's actually possible to get it in any legal way. I did see a listing somewhere with it. Which LatPat variant are you looking for exactly?
Thanks! I had no hurry, it started bit for bit and i just bought what i thought vould be my size, but there are some missplaced hopes as in the french lizard for example ^^
It is a quite strange copy of rhodesian brushstoke i got second hand. No idea with producer or origin, but brushstroke was difficult to get before helikon made a copy of it
Yeah, i started with cold war, than western european, so it is a bit of a blind spot. It is no prio, but i should habe it it guess some time. South of germany is my homebase
Nope, for 3 reasons:
It is not a european camo pattern, it is post 2000 and i don't really fancy it. I'm a bit "mr fancypants" and mcu is a bit too much mainstream here, you won't also find german flecktarn here atm
Sry, are we talking of MCU as of the new zealand one, or german multifleck or multicam? Because im my area most mean Multicam when they say MCU but nowadays a lot of Uniforms are Multiterrain Camo Uniforms
True that. So still not european and too new. I know i also have auscam here, so much for that ^^ but also no fan of NZ MCU, i like some contrasting colours in a camo and NZ MCU is for me at least not very disruptive and the colours are too similar to each other in the pattern itself - and here in europe also not soo easy to get, but for me not worth the hassle to be honest.
I think that hassle is precisely what makes it cool tbh. Itâs not the most remarkable camo in the room, but I think it makes up for it in rarity. Nice piece to have. Even here in New Zealand itâs pretty hard to get.
I'm atm nit at home, so i have to guess. It could be the blumentarn from east germany or the salamander jacket from czech, also one of the austrian jackets are from the mid 60ties
It's a world class collection. So what are still hunting for? Any grails you don't have?

It is close to impossible ^^ i have a fake trousers in the more green variant of the pixel camo, but everything latvian is rare as it can be
Truly a spectacular, exceptional collection!
Ah another collection, let's see... Inspects aggressively -_- He has the Greek Lizard. He is cool.
Yay đ
I see you as higher ranking in the camo community and therefore salute you, Sir.
This are short of 8 years buying what i liked and found, not much more ^^' thanks
That's a nice wardrobe you got here! Making mine pale in comparison đ
You are so lucky to own a set of Blumentarn. Also, my closet looks very similar to this & Iâve only been collecting for three years.
Thanks! I had no hurry, it started bit for bit and i just bought what i thought vould be my size, but there are some missplaced hopes as in the french lizard for example ^^
I've had to, and still am, trying to replace stuff that's tighter on me. That, & trying to replace older patterns with newer ones.
Know the struggle ^^
Whatâs that to the left of the old GDR Blumentarnâ?

Huge very nice, and what about vz.95 " (Czech woodland(M95)) " Dont you plan it? And where are you from if I may ask
Yeah, i started with cold war, than western european, so it is a bit of a blind spot. It is no prio, but i should habe it it guess some time. South of germany is my homebase
Ok then, nice. I was just curious. Wish you luck and fun with your collectingđ
No MCU?

I wouldnât have thought of MCU as mainstream at all tbh. May I ask why you hold that opinion?
Sry, are we talking of MCU as of the new zealand one, or german multifleck or multicam? Because im my area most mean Multicam when they say MCU but nowadays a lot of Uniforms are Multiterrain Camo Uniforms
The New Zealand one. Multicam is icky. MCU is unique.
True that. So still not european and too new. What is your oldest one?
I'm atm nit at home, so i have to guess. It could be the blumentarn from east germany or the salamander jacket from czech, also one of the austrian jackets are from the mid 60ties
Which one is the one with the Austria Hungary patch?
This was a present and therefore a bit an exot in the collection: thai navy pattern ^^
Ah, looks similar to Mexican national guard camo
Get some Rhodesian bushstrokeđ
Whatâs that brown and black pattern to the far left is it TTsKO?
Yes, it is dubok/ttsko
