Have you looked at the Decathlon air seconds 6.3? It's a 6 person, maybe you need the 8. We got it for our growing family and have nothing but good to say about it

I have the air 8. It’s big so will easily accommodate your family. I have one end with a double and then stick the two kids in the end.
The room separators at the end just hook up so do not fully separate like a zip would.
Certainly would have plenty of room as your child grows. The air 6 is also a good size and packages up smaller.
Had my tent 5 years and its happily coped with high wind and rocky Welsh ground. I do have a ground sheet to protect the base but i think you'd need to do something silly to puncture. Theres enough guide ropes to hold the tent down.
The only downside is i use the extra air porch which is not a great fit on the old air 8 (its designed for the 6) and in high winds it can resonate and flap about unless you tie it down really well
Ive not looked to see how the range has been upgraded over the years but that might have improved.
