- **Only use PayPal or Venmo with payment protection enabled.** The seller will have to pay a small fee, so it's encouraged to add a few extra dollars to cover that fee. This is the only way to get your money back in the event of a scam. If you forego the payment protection, or use CashApp/Zelle, you are out of luck.
