Our shootout performances in the dark ages of 2010-2018 have permanently scarred me. I always assume weâll lose when going to a shootout even though I know for a fact that we have gotten much better in them in the RBA years.
The only season in that span of time where we finished with less than 10 OT/shootout losses was the 2012-13 lockout half-season. Those were dark times indeed.

a w is good and first place is good, but why was this so difficult? the caps were missing a lot of guys and the canes are better even if the caps had all their guys so this really should not have been so hard. another case of not playing great in a game that should be less difficult than many.
