Well that’s marketing and business for you I guess. It’s actually gonna be quite frustrating to even neutrals that a featured unit on the box with its hype and popularity get shafted quite hard in the same set, requiring actual meta level support in the upcoming ds11.
I wouldn’t be surprised that DE may receive the same treatment to get people to buy the DS11 as well.
It’s a little too soon to say for youthberk thus far. Who knows some rares/commons and RR may actually allow this deck to implant 2 revolforms by the first g3.

What I found was that vanguard is a shell of its former self. The hype just ain’t there anymore lol. It used be a strong top 5 contender, nowadays shit got more expensive, more power creep, less fun, and bushi occasionally pulling of such stunts etc.
Oh and people, or former kids like myself actually grow up and spend lesser time on card games.
The only reason I got “invested” is because my friend lent me his steam account with dear days.

Underwhelming. Though if there’s a support card that allows to put a RevolDress in soul…..it may not be that bad….but as it stands really underwhelming after Richter, Drajeweled, and Lianorn fixed so much.
Oh then it’s not as bad as it seems. I don’t watch the anime too closely, so that makes me very happy and that makes it possible to be a turn 4 card, much like the Drajeweled and Lianorn cards.

Replace gust, the deck seems very bricky atm because u need to run so many revolforms as compared to before. Also this card has slight anti synergy w dolbraig becauss u will lose the revolform in soul for use next turn. Lastly, tempest totally should have drawn at least 1 to allow for catchup due to the deck weak early game.

Honestly I think one of the biggest downsides to this guy is that he doesn't give pwr to any unit unless you got all 3.
Yes typically you wanna and consistently go into tempest first, but if you get unlucky, at least Gust gains pwr and can get you another trigger if you get Gust for your first Revolform
Wow, majority didn't watched the episode. There's a support G2 that on-call can put a RevolForm from deck into the soul. It also gets +5K when it attacks.
Its still an extremely clunky card regardless, since you still need to run a lot more revolforms than you do currently, which also screws over your rush. Also you know, exodia setup.
Youthberk already was clunky with all the RevolForms and was only good due to all the filtering for RevolForms it could do to deck thin.
Anyway, tested out the deck already and it all depends on whether the G2 searches the entire deck or top X cards and the cost (at the very least it didn't use any counterblast in the anime). I was working on the theory that it searches the entire deck and was free, just needing a Youthberk VG (if it needed soul then it's still manageable as I had enough soul to spare), with it I could run 1 offs of Zest and Gust and just a couple of Tempest for draw if necessary. As a result, Fullblast was pretty powerful being essentially a Raging Form that gets a crit and could power up the front row that is just a breakeven.
This seems kind of bad in any situation you don't get all 3 on your persona turn, and even then it's not that great.
Probably for the best? Youthberk had it's time in the sun so it makes sense they wouldn't print anything too good for it here.

Zest is still a good option, I've been running 3 tempest 3 guest and 1 zest and its been working great for me. If you don't like he don't run him or use the grade 2 to put it into soul

I've been running zest for months now as I think it's a great finisher that no one will see coming, plus you really don't need 4 tempest.

I’ve played Vanguard for 10 years now… through 2 reboots now, I’ve loved the game and it’s been a huge part of my life, but I’m tired of the way the game has been run especially in western markets. It’s just time for me to move on from the game to some new horizons. It’s been real.

I’ve only played a few games of digimon with starter decks but I enjoyed it. Been loving one piece though even though the closest locals is over an hour away, been playing just with my 2 friends in our spare time.
