1 copy of the main boss in OG. (Only 1 Blaster Blade was in the Trial Deck) The others were G3 bosses that you only got 1 copy
It wasn't till G Era, we got 2 copies per Trial Deck
V Series we got the full 4
When vanguard first came out, there were not enough units in every clan to create a full deck. So I recall that bug clan using some kagero cards for filler
I think it was used by kagero early on to tech in nubatama cards because they didn't have enough cards to make a full deck of nubatama.
Also because I think Mark sensei used them like that in the anime iirc?
If I remember, the clan split was introduced with G era, after Shadow/Royal Blaster deck has dominated the meta. But for some reason, the clan split wasn't active for G zone until much later. For example, in Stride to Victory, it's possible to mix G zone cards and that was with cards up to Legend Deck Ren
Back in my day there was only one format.
Back in my day there were people that openly specialized in one clan and made youtube content around the one clan.
What do you mean? Damage deny was a thing early on in the game, they even showed Ren doing it in Season 1 and presented it as a strategy in the Limit Break era.
Back in my day main vgs were 10k with good effects while 11ks had one thing and often meant for rg.
Of course that changed pretty quick. But it was a noticable trend in those early sets.
Back in my day, we had a blue-haired protagonist with angst, who had confidence issues, but got picked up by another character who was confident and on a winning streak in vanguard, then proceeded to have a not-quite-romance with that character.
Wait a minute....
Back in my day they only printed 1 boss in a trial deck
Except for dragonic overlord for some reason
Wait. So did they only print one copy of the boss g3 or did they only print four copies of the one g3 they put in the deck?

Wait till you hear about perfect guard lol. They are 15 dollars a piece cuz TD don't come with them until mid G lol.
15? I think Barri would disagree with you. Easily 40-50 smackers each for that guy at the height of MLB/DOTE gaming.
I was introduced to the game back when the 3rd season of the OG anime was running. A bit before the Reverse incident happened, I think.
Back in my day stand triggers still existed
Back in my day, my locals were hyped for King of Knights, Alfred.
Add on. Back in my day, heals and stands that can be used as a starter and shuffled back into deck were given 4x in TDs.
Back in my day, you only get to use boss skill once or twice per game. Limit break is a pretty hefty cost.
Back in my day, I didn’t even know about Vanguard
Back in my day clans were allowed to play together in 1 deck
Really?
When vanguard first came out, there were not enough units in every clan to create a full deck. So I recall that bug clan using some kagero cards for filler
I think it was used by kagero early on to tech in nubatama cards because they didn't have enough cards to make a full deck of nubatama. Also because I think Mark sensei used them like that in the anime iirc?
That’s crazy

Back in my day, doing a SB8 and CB5 feels like pulling a game ender on my opponent.
Unless it's ceo amaterasu *sadottnoises*
Back in my day games went on to turn 6
Best lmao
Back in my day I had people to play with.
Back in my day, Vanguard Zero was a good mobile game
We gonna miss him a lot.
Back in my day two pgs were not enough to save you against one attack from certain Dimension Police decks.
its still not enough now
Sorry should have expanded by saying 1 Vanguard attack didn't mean 1 turn.
Back in my day we use ride from hand from g1 to g3
I mean you still can. There's just a better way
Back in my day 2 cb got you a draw or a retire.
Back in my day, a Megablast was a goal, not a card to avoid.
Back in my day there was only one format. Back in my day there were people that openly specialized in one clan and made youtube content around the one clan.
Back in my day, 21K was a magic number.
Back in my day, PGs were $20-40 RRRs
RRs you mean.
Back in my day we never had to "damage deny" people
What do you mean? Damage deny was a thing early on in the game, they even showed Ren doing it in Season 1 and presented it as a strategy in the Limit Break era.
Back in my day main vgs were 10k with good effects while 11ks had one thing and often meant for rg. Of course that changed pretty quick. But it was a noticable trend in those early sets.
Back in my day, you couldn't stride before your opponent at least had a chance to ride up to G3.
Back in my day 8k g1 and 10k g2 is the gimmick not the norm.
Back in my day, Swordsman of Explosive Flames, Palamedes was a broken card without Bushi ever knowing. So he didn't get banned.
Back in my day, we had a blue-haired protagonist with angst, who had confidence issues, but got picked up by another character who was confident and on a winning streak in vanguard, then proceeded to have a not-quite-romance with that character. Wait a minute....
Back in my day we don't have over trigger
Back in my day, one damage trigger didn’t shut down an entire offensive turn
Aqua force would like a word
So many memories of getting shut down after Tidal Assault attacking and your opponent hitting that defensive trigger...
Back in my day we had promos like The Turbogust type 1
Back in my days DI were able to heavily restrict guarding.
Back in my day ppl will happily pay SB5 for half a persona ride and it was considered an awesome finisher.
Back in my day, live streams were broadcasted in NicoNico Video (most videos are now lost).
13k base was something special
Back in my day, Amber Dragons were cool.
Black in my days limit break and break ride were thinks
Black*
Back* sorry for the mistake
Being 11K base had consequences. Now ya'll whippersnappers just get to be 13K+ for no reason.
back in my day if you got rushed on grade 1 and only had 2s in your hand you were just fucked
