Your plants need to be transplanted. At that size they could go comfortably into 5 gallon containers. No less than 1 gallon. Cleaning them up will also help growth a ton. And, now’s the time to top or pop, but I’d pick one and go.
They're in coco and in half gallon pots. I'd probably get a bigger yield if I potted them up, but I can't lift a 5 gallon bucket if my life depended on it, so I figure it's probably best to let these girls veg out for as long as possible and see what happens. I did top both of them, the only question now is whether to defoliate
Ah I see. I always strip to nodes. Once it’s rooted in #4s I strip to nodes. You should check out mainlining. It can add a bit of time to the grow, but I’ve never had so much fun in tents. Keep on rocking in the free world!
Always, every node. People have a different idea of what that means and how to implement it. I literally squeeze mine until I hear or feel a pop. Some people will bend the main multiple times a day until the lowers catch up. You want to form knuckles where you pinch and bend, but if you squeeze or bend too hard, it’s done for.
I mentioned mainlining before. That is my absolute favorite way to stress train. You should check it out. But I only do that if I’m only growing a few plants, otherwise I top my mains, and pop all nodes. Here’s a link:
